1. I voted for the first one
It really caught my eye.

I like all of them, the bird would be my second choice.

2. Thanks, Mz Pip!
I have loads - we had a record snowfall this winter. They (pictures) all just start looking like a bad winter after a while.

5. Count me in for numero uno!
It looks both extremely cold, as the others do, but has more variety, and I particularly love the lamp post and trees as they stand parallel and darker, in contrast to the snow. As for the bird, I think I would have preferred to see more of its face, but even so, I would go for the first one anyway. I love it! Seeing the newly fallen snow like that, the street covered with snow, and absolutely nobody in sight--it has the winter starkness going on in a big way.

6. Thanks, Celebration!
The birdie was all puffed up and covering his face in his wings and wouldn't let me get a good face shot. The meanie!

My building is like a ghost town these days...everyone moving out and no new people because it's all closing down.

16. In March, yes. Thanks.
Actually, it's been wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Very few neighbors, very few kids...little to no traffic.

7. I had to come back 2 times to decide. I was at first for the fourth one, it speaks
to a quirk in me because of the patterns. But to enjoy that Pollack type pattern I have to take off the whole white bottom.

Then i realized the first one is the one.
My playing around with number four is my own idiotsycracy.

I love the fourth one a whole lot, and wish I had taken it or been there to see this vision myself. But I voted for number 1, it's beautiful, tells a full wintry story beautifully, and it will be popular!!!

No snow in Los Angeles!

13. That's a tough one
But the laciness of the trees contrasting with the buildings and lamp post is what makes the first one the winner.
