1. I don't think that Robin
is a sign of spring. lol These are great. Hope you are enjoying the time with the family and don't need to head home before the roads are all clear. We just started getting snow around noon. Not bad now, only a couple inches but windy. Will see what happens overnight. On a dividing line on getting just a little or getting way too much snow.

4. Glad you liked the photos - all of you are certain this is a Robin?!
I don't know about birds, and trust your ID. The tree was filled with them. They wanted the berries. Not being a photographer of birds I was happy to find that I had scored a few nice ones, and now I'm glad to know what type they were.

Be safe all you East Coasters.
I'm still stuck and can't go home, thank goodness I'm in a house full of books with people who love me.
It's a nightmare out there!

5. Yes
it is a Robin for sure :)
Be glad you're in a house with heat, we had a lot of power outages here this morning where I am and a lot in your city too
Stay warm and safe and just enjoy the beauty. It will all be gone shortly I'm sure.

Sorry, I don't know how to size this from another website lol
