Sunsets -- post your own!
The most common theme behind flowers? Love them both and everything else.

8. Makes me feel like I'm right there with you.
The first one is as sizzling as the last one is sweet. The water begs for a late swim.

10. I blush. thanks. but you know what...
I have better ones.
In Florida, where I was, in the Keys, at 8:15 pm or so, all you need to do is lift your camera and push. Anybody can do it.

I have a series of a sunset I shot in Sarasota at the beach, where the vendor who sits in the sand and sells little paintings said:
"I've never, in over 400 nights here, seen a more spectacular sunset."
I'm waiting for a contest about "sunsets".
LOL
Actually I'm pretty sure I posted one or two of that evening here once. But you all were too proud of me to speak, as Shel Silverstein would say.
So I'll wait.

7. OHHHHHH - since everything in Texas is exra large,
would that be called a "Burning Bush?"

This is spectacular, and highly unusual looking. I'm glad there is the second tree, and also the hint of the side of the road.
Really HOT.

with what you brought for presents it's just like an early Christmas.
Phenomenal additions.

21. Thank you!
This year's trip to Peru was not particularly inspiring. One of those "what was I thinking" trips where nearly everything went wrong. So gratefully I was given an opportunity for a low-budget R &R trip to Kauai. I'm loving this place.

32. OMG - the first one reminds me of the moment
someone taught me the phrase "Is you cussin' me?"
Well, that's what popped into my mind. And it is all so very very good.
Not only do I envy your ability to take such a wonderful photo, but I envy that YOU ARE THERE.

I am, gracias a Dios, a person who is not given to envy as a rule. But when it comes to being in the West, all I wish for is to be younger.
Then I would pull up roots and go to the places that call me all the time....in a heartbeat.

Too much information.
I shut up now.

33. Thanks, Mira.
I've lived away from the west coast, but it's home to me, and I hope to stay for good this time around. I try to never forget how fortunate I am to live near Yosemite, and some other west coast features.

By the way, I love the shots of your house, i.e., "the set".

Thanks, Mira.

34. Let's make a deal.
Firstly, thanks for your kind comments.
I post this stuff with inferior photos but from overwhelming excitement. And from your acceptance and feedback I find there is room for it.

The deal is, if ever you need a place to hang your hat and explore this East side, I have guest rooms now that I no longer rent them. Roots without obligation.
And I without shame look for places to hang my hat and park my head while I explore the West, and its karmic roots I can't explain.
