great photographers who post here. I can't tell you how many times I come here each week after really tough days that try their hardest to leave me depressed and despondent and your artistry soothes my weary soul.

This place usually perks me up a bit as well.

Lots of times I just laugh out loud at people's photos. There are some people here with really quirky senses of humor.

I really just started to take photography semi seriously as a hobby, and haven't been posting here very long.

Thanks for joining in the conversation. I think the photo contests give this group some exposure, and there are definitely lurkers here. So, stick around, comment on some photos, and when you snap an interesting picture, if you have a mind to post it, we can take a look.
