Fun with the squirrels.

On a feeder in my back yard. I put up bird feeders with squirrel blockers and felt sorry for the little critters after watching them try to get past the blockers so I set up a feeder just for them.


No post processing, straight from the camera to .jpg for upload.


Cropped from the center of the pic above. Can you see the photographer? I kicked up the contrast to emphasize the reflection.

1. I like my squirrels a lot

and have never minded feeding them. I feed them field corn and baffle my bird feeder because the bird seed is more expensive and they tend to just throw it around. These are really nicely shot.



I won't speak of how tasty squirrel is when made into a nice stew..of coarse them's wild squirrels not my little friends..

2. We used to eat squirrel when I was a little girl

in rural Ohio. It tasted like chicken. :P
