1. Actually like the 2nd one.........
.. has that whole chaos :P thing going on. But, the first would probably garner more votes in the GD caucus. It has a nice chorus and it's easy to dance to.

However, keep in mind that I'm clueless on this whole diagonal thang' so you have to temper anything I say with .... that. I just suck at "themes".

3. I figure many would be looking to man made objects for
diagonals, but finding them in nature is my goal. The first one may be a good picture, but it is the eye of the person who designed the space, not the eye of the photographer that is highlighted. I don't feel I saw it in a unique way.

6. I like nature's diagonals better, myself...
This is the one I'm thinking of using...I like the way the tree line follows the ridge of the mountain.

Should I make this smaller, do you think?

12. Good point...
Thanks, I'll take it out of my original, too. Too many sticks up here "in the sticks" is always a problem. :)

7. Nature would definitely be more of a challenge
Though I disagree with your comments about #1. I believe you viewed it in a unique way. I'm lookin' at the image and I can see how 90 out of 100 people 'with camera' would snap it.... and your photo wouldn't fall in that 90% range.

9. Thanks. I need to find the original and see if I can play with it a bit.

2. I see the diagonal in both
but I agree with F. Gordon that #1 would probably work best with the GD gang.

4. I've never entered to win, I enter to take part and to show the world
as I see it. What those in GD think of my images isn't as important as what I think of what I have done.

10. It's the process of creating I find appealing. I love making kites
much more than flying them. I fly them long enough to see if they work as a kite and as a statement.
