WALNUT VALLEY FESTIVAL
WALNUT VALLEY FESTIVAL
September 12-16, 2007
Winfield, Kansas
http://www.wvfest.com

No seats, no problem.

Joebass entertaining Emma

There were very few shined shoes and pressed shirts.

John McCutcheon and Tommy Emmanuel

I think this is a work of art. Water connections for some of the concession stands.

There were some half dozen of these hard to miss hats at the Festival. You had to be privileged to have one.

1. You have some nice people shots!
And I think I can hear the bluegrass playing. Was it bluegrass?

2. There was some of that, lots of Folk music, songs written by the performers.
Not a bad player in the bunch. I plan on going next year.

Check out the WVF web site and my smugmug site. They have been doing this for 36 years and they do it quite well.

3. those are great pics
I am a big fan of the Winfield festival

Been reading about nothing except Winfield for the past week - many friends who were there. Several who competed this year. Sounds like one of the most competive years ever.

THANKS!!!!!!!

Did you camp there? How about some good jamming?

I am envious!!!!!

4. Camping? Me? Only if the ice machine is not too far down the hall.
The brother of my lady friend did the camping and supplied the hats. I don't play, but I know and enjoy good music. And this event had good music and lots of it.
My thing is takin pixtures.
