Flower

This was taken on March 30 @ 6:39 AM HST by Turtle Bay resort - North Shore Oahu. The sun was already up, even though it was overcast.
Sometimes my random shots turn out better than when I try to plan them.

1. Great detail and color
What did you use for the background? There's nothing there to distract the viewer. Nice!

2. Nothing
That's why it is black

I did use flash to freeze the flower because it was a little breezy. The background should have shown up.

Here is a shot without the flash... So what happened?

4. A Kodak 7590 /Flash
I don't remember if I had it set on Auto or Program. I set the Macro function for the close-up. I used the flash because the flower was moving pretty good, otherwise I would have gotten a bit closer.

6. I love hibiscus blossoms, espcially in their morning doze.
They're all over Tahiti and remind me of where I'd rather be.

(The one below isn't mine. Mine are still packed away.)

8. Didn't you see mine like that?? (In "Sprong"?) Here it is ...
I even saw that CNN showed tulips crusted with snow in their weather coverage of Michigan. It's an effective way to make the point, I think.
