1. I like what you did with that trail of leaves...
I'm going to have to figure out how to do all that fancy stuff one of these days. :)

4. Thank you!
It's not as fancy as it seems - see my answer below. :hi:

2. I liked the first -
but be sure to resize the entry so I don't have to scroll down and lose the top to see the color at the bottom!

3. That first one is different & I tend to go for "different" so voted for
the first one.

If you don't mind my asking, what photo program did you use to get that effect? It's very interesting. :)

6. Thanks!
I used Macromedia Fireworks for it; it's a quicker program than Photoshop CS (which I also use). I just duplicated the picture so that I end up with two layers of the same image, converted the top layer into sepia tone and enhanced the colors of the second layer.
Then I zoomed in and manually erased the leaves from the sepia tone layer so that the color layer came through.

7. Sounds like those are great programs. I'm familiar with Photoshop CS..

although I don't own it... YET (it's way up there on my wish list). Never heard of the other, looked it up and it sounds great but unfortunately it's too rich for us right now.
