Photogroup February Contest: Theme?

Any suggestions for a theme for this months contest? I have the "leftovers" from last month, and new themes are also welcome!
I hope to set up a poll this weekend, and start the submission thread early next week. So don't sit and wait :D

Action is always good.

Or, in reverence to the SotU yesterday, a less linear theme like "deception"?

Or maybe a skill development type of thing, like "depth of field" or "contrast" or "motion blur". "Solitude"? "Shadows"?

In honor of the shortest month, I suggest the theme of "Short".

"Absence of Color" would be kewl. B&W, Sepia, Duo-Tones, Tri-Tones, Infrared, Selective Color..... anything where color is removed and/or reduced to a minimum ... or just a couple of colors. Or just "Black and White".

What was 2nd last time round? Oh yea, "Churches". I still like that. Just as long as the theme isn't "Things You'd Find in Norway".

My guess is things you find in Alaska are very similar to things you find in Norway. :evilgrin: It wouldn't be that hard to fake.

expressed by the image, rather than the subject matter or type of photo.

Nice snow flake, never get to see one of those in Tucson Arizona. Perfect focus and contrast with the white snow against the red background.
