You have to do a siskel & roepert report once you have seen it without 1 spoiler til we all have seen it. I am searching to find if it will be in an IMAX theatre like Prisoner of Azkaban was....

3. I'm waiting to hear from some friends first.
I'm living with a 5-year-old. He loves movies 1 - 3, but as they grow progressively darker, I want to hear from some people who've seen it first before I decide how many tickets to get.

7. OK. I just saw it yesterday at an IMAX showing in San Francisco.
There were many, many children in the audience, and many adults accomanying them, and they all had a great time. The scary parts are indeed scary, but all the plusses in the film are so worth it. I heard a gazillion teenage girls squeal with delight when the new, grown-up Hermione was revealed! They again shrieked with delight when Rupert Grint's name appeared on screen. If your 5 year old is particularly impressionable or frightened easily, have an honest talk beforehand and ask if s/he really wants to go to something very scary. That'll tell you.

5. My sons 6th Grade Language Arts class is it seeing as I type,
I'll have to put the squeeze on him for his impressions of the movie. I read HPB to him and his sister while on vacation in Maine this summer, it was fun reading to them by firelight.
