Harry days are here again
http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/books/07/14/harry.potter/index.html

There are 270 million of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books in print, 80 million in the United States.

The Potter books have been translated into more than 60 languages.

They have spawned three movies (total worldwide take: about $2.6 billion), with a fourth on the way this holiday season.

I have several of the books; I'm picking up a copy of one of the HP books in Japanese this weekend for my collection and I have copies of all three movies including soundtracks.

Am I obsessed or what? I'm a 37 year old man for lordie's sake!

LOL I love it!

1. Letsseee.....
Finished OOP last night? check.
I've got to go to Physical Therapy for my knee this afternoon, then to the party tonight.

It's hot and keeps threatening to rain here and I didn't get our robes finished, so we're not going in costume, unless it's as Young Molly Weasley and Bill Weasley in Muggle-wear. (I'm short, slightly round and red-haired but not old enough to have 3 adult children; Mr. P is very tall, has long dark hair in a pony tail, and dresses all in black.)

Don't feel bad... you're no more obsessed than we are....

2. well I am a 56 year old woman and I went to B&N tonight to get
my reserved copy. It made my heart sing to see a bookstore at midnight packed with people, kids and parents, grandparents, etc. Up the street at Borders, their lot was just as full. I am sure the other Barnes/Noble and Borders in town were packed as well.

I have loved these books from the get go!

Of course I have to finish the book I am currently reading but that wont' take long.
