Arrgh,

I post in GD,on the threads about death penalty what to do with pedophiles etc.

It's aggravating how people misunderstand me.

I am not saying *I* should be the sole judge, of who lives or dies..it takes a consensus of people that is not stacked..to do that,like a jury.
But people who read my stuff assume this in a reactionary way when I say kill them if they have no conscience can't feel guilt or love when nothing deters them from abusing people.

What is so wrong about saying people who have no conscience,who abuse kids or rape should be eliminated after they have been caught and convicted more than three times?

When do you draw the line.To sociopaths law enforcement is a game to play avoid getting caught,and when they get out to play again it gets people hurt.

When will people realize a serial bully, a rapist a pedophile having their individual freedom takes away the freedoms, safety sanity and peace of a LOT of people that have done no abuse crimes..Why should a community be afraid and kids be hurt because a pedophile moves in and people with misguided moral absolutes think these abusers deserve freedom like non abusive people which they seek out to abuse playing a game with law enforcement,creating shattered lives in their wake until they get caught.? Don't people realize the REASON law enforcement was invented was to keep sociopaths away from non abusive people? If it wasn't for the existence of sociopaths among us and people with no conscience among us who are free,law enforcement would work and rehabilitation would work because the people getting caught would be able to feel guilt,shame and remorse for their crimes..

What is wrong with killing off repeat offenders who rape,torture or molest kids without pity?

Serial rapists,pedophiles they deserve no pity. Yet Pollyanna people still pity the career criminal who manipulate them so they can wheedle out to abuse another day.

When will people QUIT seeing sociopaths with their solipsism's eyes and realize people without a conscience are not capable of living among other people,they are different to the core.It's true the gulf between a sociopaths mind and the mind of someone with a conscience is unfathomable, maybe this is why people refuse to stop pitying them.
Sadly if we do not give support to victims of sociopaths and give a perp what they need(no more pity) to stop them from hurting others we will become like them by enabling them.
Killing a sociopath isn't becoming like them,because a sociopath has no component that makes humans able to exist together it's missing,they have no conscience.But when you kill an abuser a rapist a child molester you are showing love love for people who do not harm by harming the person who harms them..When people on DU misunderstand and go pitying sociopaths or blaming me for having a pitiless view I feel sad for them because they don't want to think sociopaths exploit their Utopian dreams of being able to generate or"rehab" a conscience into a person born without one..
How many people with a conscience who don't hurt people gotta be hurt because of misguided people with these"ideals"helping sociopaths with no consciences by insisting on a criminal being treated by society as if they have a conscience after they demonstrate they feel no guilt as they gleefully abuse kids or people and play games with the police or other agencies??

1. The death penalty is a tough issue

And many people including myself are against it. But I do not see a problem with permanently removing pedophiles from society, i.e. life imprisonment.

I didn't see the thread you were talking about, but it is possible that some of the people are just against the death penalty for anyone. If that is not the case of some of the posters, then forgive me.

2. I have a slightly different view.

My experience and learning has shown me that there are very few people BORN without a conscience. I also do not believe the studies which "prove" that there are.

My heart and mind tells me that people without conscience are playing that game for many varied reasons (misplaced/misdierected vengeance, the illusion of self-protection, the illusion of power) - some to the grave, others admit their wrongdoings before death.

Now,I absolutely believe that those who repeatedly hurt others should be removed from society - for good. I also do not believe that rehabilitation is possible for many of these sick souls.

So, lock away for life, chemically castrate rapists as they do here in Holland, any other measures besides killing them is my preference, but keep them away from innocents!

Just my view, undergroundpanther, I understand your frustration at the appearance of protection of the perpetrators of unspeakable crimes instead of the highest possible level of protection of innocent victims.
