Debut of new feature at We Love John Kerry
Democrafty, DreamingofKerry and I are proud to announce the first in an occasional series to be called Out and About in the Kerryverse, and first up is this group's own DynamicDems!

Read her inspiring thoughts here: http://welovejohnkerry.blogspot.com/ and let us know what you think!

1. Thank you, Kerryvsionary!

Boy, it sure felt strange to be interviewed, but this is a terrific idea you came up with to promote unity among Kerry sites. I've been working at this for over 2 years now, but since the election in 2004, I've particularly been scouring the "Kerryverse" (great way to describe it, btw) for other Kerry sites and linking to all of them.

Your site is terrific and I linked to it without any expectation, but damn, it was awesome to finally have someone link back. After all this time, your site was the first to do that. Now there are a whopping two, but you were the first of the two. :D

Sometimes it's easy to wonder why we bother because it can feel like batting your head against a brick wall when the most frequent visitors you get are the IRS and Homeland Security. It is very difficult to get the message out there, but I really think we are all doing the right thing. Senator Kerry has a lot of support and there are a lot of people who, as the title of your blog declares, Love John Kerry!

The MSM certainly won't report this. We simply aren't going to hear any of them admit, "There is a still a lot of support and a lot of loyalty out there for John Kerry." Tiering and discouraging as it can be, it's good to know that there are others out there trying to get the message out. The Web is full of poison and negativity and it can feel like the end of the earth (or the beginning of Hell) sometimes.

Thanks again.

edit: thanks also to Democrafty & DreamingofKerry

7. Great interview.
DD, loved your answers. By coincidence, I watched Batman last night (Michael Keaton. He's from the Pittsburgh area, BTW). Although I had never made the Kerry/Batman connection, I can see it. Definitely Edwards as Robin.

I would just love to see Kerry battle McCain ala the TV version (with graphics)

*BAM*, *POW*, *ZOWIE*
LOL. That used to be my favorite TV show.

Cool blog, BTW. Thanks.

8. These were images from a greeting card from my shop in '04....
They were pretty rough (my graphics skills weren't up to par) but I thought the characterizations were fitting.

This was the front of the card.

When you opened the card, this was inside along with some comment or other from the "Axix of Evil."

I've always loved Batman. He's the intelligent super hero. He's also the crime fighter super hero.

John Kerry is the consummate crime fighter. He began fighting the criminals in the Nixon Administration, was a tough prosecutor fighting urban crime (without a cape), he wrote the "New War" about International crime and terrorism, exposed the Iran-Contra scandal and is currently hard at work fighting the criminals in Washington. I think the Batman metaphor works quite well.

And you know they'd both look good in tights, unlike the opposition. EWWW!
