19. In the past it's taken over 5 hours

Someone posted that there were "trusted" posters whose stuff goes straight in and those of us who wait. I've gotten 5 or 6 posts on various threads - but I'm not trusted.

What I don't understand is why such garbage is posted if it is screened. The scren seems pretty poor - or as Fedup's comment indicates may be only if you challange Ariana.

That place is rigged. I am assuming that Sen. Kerry has been informed that complimentary comments take FOREVER to get posted while the mean and nasty comments get put up immediately.

I know that KG knows some people at HuffPost which is why hers get posted more quickly (thank GOD!!!), but a nobody like me and the rest of us who love Kerry. They take their sweet old time, but then once the blog post is no longer front and center on her blog, then and only then do they post our comments.

And the worst of it all was that stupid Skull and Bones garbage was voted "best of". I mean even people who don't like Kerry can't believe that crap!!

18. Left comment at 9:30 PM last night; my comment is still not there

as of 4:30 PM the next day. The ONLY positive comments are from KG, who knows somebody there.

That site needs to eliminate the comment section to their blog. HuffPost makes dKos look like a bastion for democracy.

I think Sen. Kerry should post again on dKos and hang around to respond a little, and I think Arianna Huffington should just disable commenting on her site. Andrew Sullivan doesn't have comments but will publish e-mails on occasion. Not every blog needs comments, but if they do, then they have to print ALL of them and put in a mechanism in place -- DU's moderators and rules OR dKos's self policing troll rate system. Plus even if you're not troll rated or deleted, people have the ability to fight back.

But censoring is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!

I may send them an e-mail and boycott their site. Even it's an entry from John Kerry. Sorry that's how I feel.

25. Long delays

When I've bothered to check back a long, long, long time later my comments have eventually shown up. I don't think it s that they censor pro-Kerry comments but that it takes forever for comments to appear from some. My bet is that regular commenters have comments go thru immediately, while they manually review others, and this takes them a long time. If this is the case, they might be better off reducing the number of comments before commets can go thru unscreened.

Perhaps we should all make a bunch of comments to non-Kerry posts to get our numbers up and maybe our posts defending Kerry will then be posted. But who really wants to add comments to all that stuff over there?

Democratic Daily is getting some hits from posts Pamela got on there, so it is possible for pro-Kerry posts to make it, and there are some people who are interested.

Arianna is a whore. She was a right-wing whore, but when the RW whore market got too crowded and she was usurped by louder, more attention-grabbing whores like Coulter, Hannity, and O'Reilly, she decided to "become" a left-wing whore, because there was more of an audience there. She is nothing but an attention-grabbing whore looking for the spotlight, and will do and say anything to keep herself in it.

Arianna is a whore and if I ever met her I'd tell her that right to her whore face.

24. Commenters worse than Kos

The comments at Huffington are typically more anti-Kerry than Kos and GD here. This is partially due to those that frequent the site and partially because those of us who don't post regularly don't have our posts defending Kerry show up in time to make a difference.

As much as we blast Kos (and as much as he personally deserves it) there are sites like Huffington and Raw Story where the comments are even more one-sided against Kerry.

Why does Kerry get accused of only going so far in attacking Bush because of S&B, but no one ever says Bush went soft on Kerry because of S&B?

Wouldn't the SBVT not exist by their S&B logic?
