Remember this gem Dana wrote back in 2007?

He's been playing loose with the facts for years. And I don't find his mean spirited columns particularly funny.

My comment to Keith:

Hope MBS doesn't mind I quote her!

Are there more examples of Dana's columns that targeted Kerry unfairly and inaccurately? I bet you there are.

2. he targetted the whole democratic party and conyers unfairly during the
time when they were forced to hold the meetings on DSM in the little tiny room.

3. Something I've never understood.
Milbank trashed the efforts of Dems to get the truth in the DSM meetings. Back then, it was evident to more and more people just how bad an organization the Bush admin was, how evil an employer it was.

And yet, Milbank and others enthusiastically defended the "bad boss."

I can understand somebody going along with a bad organization a bit regretfully, "sorry, but I have to do this."
It's when they have enthusiasm for it that I don't understand. It requires a heavy dose of blinding yourself to reality... most especially the reality that the reward you get for playing ball may NOT, in fact, be what you're hoping for. Yet it goes on all the time.

4. I'm glad Olbermann FINALLY did this -
should have happened a long time ago. Milbank is definitely a charter member of the Mo Dowd Snark CLub.

6. Always thought he shilled for the DLC
I don't know, but it's reporters like him that make me wonder what in the hell is really going on in politics.
