2. Okay this proves that the Clarkies are somewhat too rabid
I know they LIKE him, but they overwhelmingly think he'll actually get the nomination? Aww, that's sort of cute.

3. I like Clark but now I'm afraid of what in the world the RW smear machine
would do to his long history in the military.

Now it seems politically safer to have not served or to have avoided service (even in a dishonorable way)then to have actually served your country in the military. How insane is that!

5. I know, I like Clark but
Kerry is the much better candidate, plus, the RW would chew him up and spit him out.

8. I didn't mean to imply he was better then Kerry. I just meant when you
think about how long he was in combat and served, the disgusting SOB's would just destroy him. I have no idea about his actual military record but if things ever got serious we would hear everything plus tons of lies.

9. The New Yorker ran a bio piece on Clark
back in early 2004 and it was not that kind. He pissed off a lot of folks in the command structure. I shall try and find that. It was rather less than flattering. There are ego issues, maverick issues and he was not liked by the military chain of command. There were some problems in Kosovo, you know.

10. I know. The picture of him switching hats with the nasty guy, etc. The
military is as political as politics itself is actually.

Oh yeah, and the whole airport fiasco. I remember.

19. I like Clark on TV as a Dem. representative on military and foreign
policy issues. I think he does a good job.

7. Could be
I have no problems with that, because hell he's one of the best presidents we have never had since RFK, and yes better than Gore by far because Kerry is the better environmentalist, the better on foreign issues, and a fuck a lot better on domestics.

12. Oh, this is rich:
"With those choices my coin came up Green. I've given up voting for pablum Democrats."

Okay, so my question when I hear this blather is:

Why. Don't. You. Go. Away?

Whose side are these people on? Why do they hang out at *Democratic* Underground if they hate us so much?

13. Good Riddiance
Yeah voting Green will get you what you want, sigh fickle jerks. To be fair, people of other left political persuasions do have the right to be here but they should goddamn give some respect to the dems who really are working hard more so than goddamned Nader or Cobb or who the fuck ever.

16. Oh, I didn't mean Greens didn't have the right to be here
I meant, why do people who seem to hate Democrats and the party want to waste their time here? (I have my own guess, but I'll leave it unsaid.)

20. This post made me LMAO
Live in a tree?? :7

Oh, they just like to feel like martyrs. They don't WANT to feel good, so they do these things that they know will sabotage campaigns and allow elections to either be lost, or be close enough to be stolen. Then the whining starts about how everyone sucks, when in reality a lot of the problems are their own damn fault.

22. Did not vote in that silly poll. Because:
1. Seriously Clarked.

2. Isn't my dear ol' HoHo the Doc out of the 2008 race cos he'll be DNC chair? Again, I do hope he is president someday. Remember Poppy Bush was RNC Chair, so them is presidential resume points to high heaven. Dean 2012! After a two-termer by some good Dem (hopefully JK or JE or Gore or Hillary in the order of most qualified).

3. It is too soon to know who'll run.

4. Too hard to choose between: JE, JK, and Dean. That's why I'm glad I didn't vote in the primaries, too frikkin' hard.
