No speech this Saturday.
It has been postponed to a later date. (Not known at this time.)

I am not surprised at all. There are a lot of new things that have happened, including a Democratic take-over of the US Senate in January. I think that has a lot to do with it and with what legislation gets promoted and how it gets promoted. We, as Dems, have to shift gears from attack to promote.

Anyway, I will let you know when I hear if this is re-scheduled.

Ahm, I hope the good Senator gets some rest and gets over his cold.

2. This doesn't surpirse me at all. It is actually a time to regroup and
decide how to proceed. Especially now that the Dem's have the ball in their court.

3. Not surprising.
I however hope he comes out soon. We need leadership and leadership is not silent.

4. That speech was supposed to be on economics
and jobs. However, Iraq is very much in play and in the news. Dems must articulate their positions again and strongly. This might require a presence in DC for awhile.

6. It really does make sense for now not to do this.
I do hope we will see JK again soon though whether it's on a Sunday morning show, Stephanie Miller, The Daily Show - somewhere, anywhere. I need a JK fix.

But at least we'll get to see JK and each other in December. :)

8. Thanks for the update.
I am looking forward to Senator Kerry being part of the majority party in the Senate and I really feel like '08 stuff and big vision stuff should be set aside so that he can work right now for this country -- after all, he has gotten a promotion because of the excellent showing of Dems this fall. It does feel like a lot of people vying for '08, with the exception of what's his name from Iowa, are delaying decisions due to the new political landscape. And some, like Feingold, have decided a majority in the Senate is enough, and a presidential run is not necessary.

I do hope the Senator gets some rest as well, and I'm still looking forward to our big get together in December.
