If you wanted to introduce a person to your favorite TV series, which
epsiode would you choose?

For me:

Babylon 5: "Deathwalker"
Blake's 7: "The Way Back"
Star Trek: "The Menagerie"

What say you? :-)

1. It'd have to be a season
Survivor, Season One.

8. Just Sue Hawk's "Snake and Rat" comment at TC!
That should do it for anyone. It is still my favorite Survivor moment. Many have tried to top that moment at TC but none have beat Susan Hawk.

2. Roseanne -- the episode when

Becky lies to her and says she's at a friends house but she's
really with Mark, and so Roseanne keeps calling for piddly
reasons even though she knows Becky lied.

Jackie says, "You're good." And Roseanne says, "I'll have to
stay better."

It was just classic Mom/teenager with no gloss or nonsense.

For laughs, it was the episode where Joan Collins guest stars.

Roseanne: "Now I remember why I don't like you. You're a bitch."
Ronnie: "I'm a bitch? I bow to the queen of all bitches."

3. Good one! Roseanne's an awesome show!
Up until the final season, but that's another story. :-)

4. Sad, sad story.

The last show I watched was when she was dressed in that
awful evening gown with her cellulite hanging out. It
was horrible.

You know, the best years of that show were when her and
Tom Arnold were together. They really did have something
special there.

6. Hmm.
Xena: "A Day in the Life"

This episode was hilarious and touching at the same time, and really managed to capture the spirit of Xena and Gabrielle's relationship.

Stargate SG-1: "Forever in a Day"

A newbie to the show might be unfamiliar with the context of the episode but this is one of my favorite SG-1 eps and is one of the many reasons the series was light years better than the movie (and I liked the movie a lot). It's one of the most poignant hours of TV I've ever had the privilege of sitting through.

Angel: "Smile Time"

Puppets. I don't think I have to say anything else. One of the best episodes of the entire series.
