Amazing Race Episode 3/22 (SPOILER WARNING)
Wow, what an episode.

My favorites are clearly the brothers. They just have a great attitude about everything. They are followed closely on my list by Uchenna and Joyce. Ron and Kelly are slowly growing on me; at least she's not complaining as much as she was.

Not sorry to see the mom and son go. His behavior in the tasks was embarrassing.

My favorite exchange of last night:

RAY: Get mad at the horse! Talk to it!
DEANA: And what am I going to say to a horse?

And how about those scenes from next week? Car accidents and bleeding head wounds?!!

1. Liking Rob and Amber more and more
I don't know what it was, I guess just chance, but the gay guys (both the competitive couple and the mother and gay son) just annoy the crap out of me. I forget which gay couple it was that I think won and I liked them, but these three are just all freaking stereotypical gay whiners.

Ok before anyone jumps on me. I have gay friends and most I know are very normal people. These three are just in that stereotypical mode of whining gay men who are catty. They don't represent by far the majority of gay people...these guys though....they're freaking whiners.

If I have to hear the couple complain about how much they hate Rob and Amber again I'm going to reach through my screen and bitch slap them. Honestly. They're smart to not talk to them. If you don't talk to Rob he can't manipulate you. Still....get over them and race for crying out loud. I just hope it's been edited that way and they're not so persnickity in real life.

And the gay son...wow was he rude to his mother. I liked his mother, espcially last week when she said she'd eat the meat and puke it up to make room....the son though just came over as another whiner i can't do it type. Puh leaze.

The brothers are good, I like Uchenna and Joyce also. Ron and Kelly are nice, but seem maybe a bit too innocent to win. Hard to believe a former POW and a beauty queen can come off as innocent...Dunno. I see them dropping.

The old couple are nice, and I'm impressed with their racing ability. Maybe the best older couple so far on the show.

I think the final four though are starting to take shape. If I had to place my bets on the final four (as long as nobody gets injured or has a really weird mistep on a challenge or gets lost)

Rob and Amber (survivors)
Brian and Gregg (brothers)
Uchenna and Joyce (married)
Lynn and Alex (boyfriends)

If I were a betting man I'd say the next to be eliminated will be Ray and Deana, then Meredith and Gretchen, then Ron and Kelly

In the final four I'm going to say that Uchenna and Joyce are the first out, and the final three are pretty tight.

I'm rooting for Rob and Amber at this point but I'd bet that Brian and Gregg win

Now of course who knows what will happen. Next week looks like Gretchen gets in a pretty serious cave fall, and maybe the brothers flip their car. Assuming they're both good to continue, that'll hur the brothers more. If they're ok, they'll get another car provided to them, but it looked like they were in the middle of nowhere, and that could prove costly. Gretchens wound could have been a bleeder and looked worse than it was. 10 minute patchup and a shot and they're on their way.

So who knows. Maybe the brothers will be out next week.

2. I agree
I really like Rob and Amber more and more. It really surprises me because I didn't like them on Survivor and was really unhappy when I heard they were going to be on AR but can't help myself from liking them. I think Lynn and Alex need to concentrate more on their own 'game' and less on their dislike of Rob and Amber because they are obsessed about how much they hate them and I think that is hurting them. I don't like the guy who keeps making smart ass rude comments about Gretchen and Meredith how they don't belong there and how he feels insulting that they are beating him. I hope Gretchen and Meredith out last him that would serve him right.}(

3. I think you're talking about Ray and Deanna
The guy who yelled at the girl on the horse to get angry at it? Who seemed a bit perturbed that he was running with the bottom of the pack?

Yeah he seems like a bit of a competetive dick. Who knows how he's like in real life. Shows like this aren't about who you really are, but his character while racing is very very competitive and not in a good way.

I agree, I'd like to see Gretchen and Meredith finish ahead of them.

I also didn't like Rob on Surivor. I didn't mind Amber. What can I say...If a girl is cute...but Rob really rubbed me the wrong way, but he got his team to the end, and is gonna marry the winner. Gotta hand it to the guy, I just wouldn't hang out with him.

I actually like Rob more on AR, but I like Amber less. She's coming across a bit more arrogant than on Survivor where she played the low key sweet girl game perfectly. (Or at least that's what they showed her to be)

5. I can respect that
I HATED Rob when he was on survivor. Both times. I couldn't believe they'd bring him back to the all-stars.

The only player I disliked more was Johnny Fairplay. Whereas I disliked Rob I think if I actually met Johnny 'Fairplay' I'd be tempted to slug him.

I expected to dislike him again on AR but I think the fact that everyone hates them and whines about it constantly, endears Rob and Amber to me.
