1. It was different.
I see the potential there. I'll watch some more. Gotta be better than Sanctuary. Only watched that because of Amanda Tapping, but even she can't save it.

3. I quite enjoyed it myself
There's a lot of potential there for it to be a strong fantasy TV show. Love the steam punk elements, and Saul Rubinek's character (Artie) is instantly likable. It'll be really interesting to see what they do with Artie and Mrs. Frederick (C.C.H. Pounder) as characters. My only complaint is with Joanne Kelly and Eddie McClintock (Myka and Peter) who were played rather woodenly, but perhaps they'll grow into their characters. However, it's SciFi (excuse me, SyFy), so there's a high potential for screwup.

4. Watching with guarded interest.
The fantasy thing seems a bit overdone for a hard boiled sci fi type like me, but I watched it with my wife
and will attempt to continue, which I couldn't with Heroes.

5. I liked it a lot.
I was primed to, though, by the existence of this. Steve Jackson Games calls their online store Warehouse 23. Any gamer, particularly any GURPS gamer, will probably tune in out of curiosity.

I liked the acting, and the main characters' different take on the Mulder-Scully partnership. My wife loves it; we devoured the two-hour pilot and "Resonance" in one sitting.

7. There's no such thing as a GURPS gamer
Back in the 90s when I worked at a hobby store, we sold at least half a dozen copies of every GURPS book that hit the shelf, but I never met anyone who actually played GURPS. Instead, they cannibalized the books for source material in their other game systems.

Warehouse 23 was a particularly good supplement IMO, and I likewise caught the allusion in the show's title.

6. I haven't watched it yet, but...
Prior to tonight I'd seen it listed in the schedule about a dozen times so far, and every single time the episode was Resonance.

If that's the pilot or the first post-pilot episode, I can see running it once or twice, but this is just silly overkill.

If they ran that episode a few dozen times more each week, it would be on about half as often as AMC airs the acclaimed military documentary Commando.
