Firefly books
I've noted there's quiet a few frustrated Firefly fans around here.

I've just heard via a Firefly mailing list that I lurk on that Simon and Schuster will publish a series of Firefly novels. I guess in the same vien as the Star Trek novels.

I've gotten this news third or fourth hand. Anyone else here this? It might be good news.

2. It's been delayed until September 30th.
I know, it's hard news to take. But this comes from Joss Whedon himself.

4. Firefly brought to book (BBC)
"The range will launch next autumn with an adaptation of Joss Whedon’s screenplay for big screen adventure Serenity.

Although the publishers considered asking Joss to write the novel himself, the job eventually fell to Keith R.A. DeCandido, who has previously written several Buffy and Angel tie-ins.

The Serenity adaptation will be followed by two original Firefly novels in 2006." http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/news/cult/2004/11/24/15651.shtml
