Galactica - the wait is killing me
I probably would have been better off not watching it, not reading anything about it, and then recording all the episodes and watch them all over a 13 hour sitdown!

1. I know the feeling.
I've been listening to Ron Moore's podcasts for each episode. It fills the time while waiting.

6. Thank god for that
I thought that it was really cool of him to offer that perk. Goes a long way to "endear" me even more to the show. I was pleasently surprised last season when they offered up deleted scenes and those behind the scene videos every week. Anyway, there is another podcast that you all might be interested in: http://www.alanlight.com/cic/cic.htm

He offers up a sort of fan's pov commentary. Adds another layer to the experince.

Does anyone know of any other fan podcasts? Just wondering. Thanks.

2. Waiting makes it better....
Just as it did for B5.

Already I am not looking forward to the end of this season.

3. It's going to be more than 13 hours for the entire season.
This season is going to be much longer. (20 episodes, last I heard)

There's going to be 10 in a row...then in January the second half of the 2nd season kicks off.

:woohoo:

4. that's like 2 seasons then!
I mean, the first season was 13 episodes, then we had to wait several months for the next 10?

5. You could call it that.
But I guess Sci-Fi didn't think Galactica was going to do very well, as they only ordered 13 episodes for the first season. (Or Ron Moore and Co. didn't want to commmit to a full 20 episodes)

When the show beat out Sci-Fi channel's other Friday night shows, they realized they had a gem on their hands.

Of course, they immediately gave Stargate: The Love Boat a full 20 episodes for it's first season. (Can you tell I'm getting tired of Sci Fi being "The Stargate Channel"?)
