I will not die a slave--a slave under the subjugation of a 'benevolent' god that has dictated what I am allowed to eat, who I can associate with, what I can wear, who I can love and marry, what days of the week I can work, what is and isn't true, what I can and cannot say, and what I can and cannot think.

It doesn't matter one bit whether or not any gods exist (it is unreasonable to conclude that they do). I will not willingly submit myself to such tyranny.

Just glad I don't have to die with all that hatred for others who are different: live and let live, leave the world alone. Don't have to shun gays, pray for Jews or Mormons, or people of the other 1000 faiths who don't have "the truth". Don't have to die feeling superior because I have a better imaginary friend.
