AAFES gas prices in Europe continue plunge

Fuel sold through the Army and Air Force Exchange Service will fall as much as 37.7 cents a gallon Saturday, extending a drop in gas prices that has been spurred by a drop in crude oil prices.

The price of regular unleaded gas in the U.S. has plummeted more than 30 cents in four weeks, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, and AAFES prices in Germany have matched the drop.

Most prices will fall a little more than 7 cents a gallon. In Germany, the price of regular falls 7.1 cents to $4.018 per gallon.

Mid-grade in both Germany and the United Kingdom drops 7.4 cents to $4.141 and $4.097 respectively.

The biggest price drop again is in the Netherlands, where mid-grade falls 11.9 cents and premium sheds 13.1 cents. Diesel there plunges 37.7 cents to $4.705.
