There is no bigotry
When I go to an animation website, a monthly competition of shorts all set to the same eleven seconds of dialogue or sound effects
and find that all of the entries, hundreds per month, apparently feature male characters, male dialogue, male POV's.
The first one with female characters is about -- guess what?

No really, guess.
That's right. A women asking a man if he's jilting her. Har de har de har.

The animated characters are mostly generic humans, 3D rigging of basketball headed males, not specific types.

This is how it feels to be The Other.
