Poll question: Regarding The Best of DU thread....

...just so everyone here is clear, the thread was only locked because it was growing to very large proportions. LOL! So, just like threads in other areas of DU that get VERY long, they are locked and it's encouraged that we start new ones. This allows those on dial-up or with other system issues to still access such threads easily. As one that was on dial-up during the course of my DU history, it does make a difference.

By the way, I had NO idea when I created that thread, that it would grow or remain in existence as long as it did. :bounce:

We are free to create a new thread. But before one is created I thought it would be best to be "democratic about it." Also, it gives me an excuse to create a poll in this area. ;)

So, please vote below. If there is an interest in creating a new "Best of DU" thread, I'll be happy to get it going.

The explanation in the thread (that it was out of date) seemed off point with respect to what I saw as the purpose of the thread--not to provide an index for current discussions, but rather an archive of such posts. I wondered, though, if length weren't the main factor, and so I appreciate your clarification :hi:

Anyway, enough of my rambling ... yes, start the thread already :)
