Been over to GD-P and the GP and boy, the poo flinging is just out of control. Anyone else seeing how corrosive this is? I think I'm going to do one last post and then just hang over here. Anyone else?

1. I've been wondering about that, too

I think the only advantage to hanging over there is to try to win people to our side and we may have reached saturation with that. It is depressing and a real time suck, too. I've also been thinking that it might be worthwhile to explore some of the issues forums and see if we can find like-minded people there. For example, there is a Poverty forum. What do others think?

2. I think Obamites are beyond salvation

In truth, they are everything I find noxious.

There is an absence of critical thinking skills, behaviors bordering on cult-like, immaturity off the scale and political neophytes who understand nothing of the history of the Democratic Party.

In short, they represent ther worst of latte liberalism.

I am anti-Corporatist, which means I dislike Hillary's policies as well. But, at least her supporters know what they are getting and can string together a coherent argument. Obama's people get under my skin.

Finally, I believe that Obama means a Republican victory in Novemnber and anyone who can't see that now is blind. It couldn't be more obvious.

3. the noise level over in GDP is deafening

i can't stand to hear their bullshit anymore. i'm voting FOR John Edwards not anyone else. my mother always told me: you are who you associate with. i'm not associating with any of them. guess that makes me the better person.

4. Now that the grown-up has stepped aside

the nastiness and the "noise level" in GD-P has risen tremendously. The accusations, rancor, and finger pointing between the other two children--sorry, other candidate's supporters is just unbelievable.

I have been avoiding the place.

5. It's ugly out there, and it's bleeding over everywhere, IMO.

I used to come to DU when the "poo flinging" got to be too much in other places I used to frequent, because it was a haven, a sanctuary, from that sort of behavior.

I wasn't here during the '04 primaries, but I doubt it was a brutal as this. I don't like what I am seeing at all.
