Who is your favorite choral composer?
Mine is Mozart, followed very closely by J.S. Bach. I recently sang the alto solos for the Coronation Mass. We had a kick-ass quartet of top-notch singers.

2. Ah, I just missed Faure's Requiem by being gone this semester.
It's often paired with the Durufle Requiem, which we did last year.

My favorite piece is The Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein. Interesting that it isn't a Mozart piece, huh? I don't know much Bernstein, so it would be silly for me to say that he is my favorite composer. I know a lot more Mozart.
