the only homeschoolers i've ever known were fundies, and they used stuff by bob jones, and creationist/christian history books.

but, since there's a DU homeschooling group, there must be more options.

1. I suppose "their" Math stuff has to be useful
Then again, maybe not:

"Johnny distributed 57 Chick tracts among his friends, hoping to deliver their souls away from Satan. Evil Gay Catholic Communist Terrorist Ahmed managed to steal 23 of them before they could be read. Assuming 50% of those who read Chick tracts get saved, how many people did Johnny save that day?"

2. for starters
Rainbow Resource) is fundie run. I get thier catalog just to read product discriptions and laugh my ass off. Thier "science" section cracks me up.

Saxon is secular. They removed some references to faries and gnomes and stuff by request of fundie homeschoolers but thier materials are still strictly secular.

The History of US is secular, and well written to boot.

Most resources for unschoolers are secular. FUN books is, Holt's books are, etc.

Some books have a bit of Jeebus talk in them but I find I can work around it and use them anyhow.

3. Calvert only refers to Christian beliefs for History
and while it's not as inclusive as it could be, it doesn't exclude the gods and goddesses of the ancient Greeks and Egyptians, Islam, or Buddhism, and it doesn't preach that any particular religion is better than another.

I supplement by explaining to my son that there are many other religions beyond those described in the book, and that many people don't believe in any god at all.

4. There are TONS of "Non Christian" resources.
I don't have the exact numbers.

Additionally, I belong to a local "liberal homeschooling group" in my state.

5. K12
Which does online homeschooling materials, is led by that paragon of virtue (and fan of five-card stud) William Bennett.
