Hidden Cameras in DTV Converters!!

I guess a lot of people fell for this Youtube hoax:

Really, why would the government spend any money on watching you through your tv?

Toilet cameras, though - that might catch some illegal goings-on.

6. monitoring TVs

I read an article some years back about an early experiment designed to try and caculate ratings of TV shows. it involved cameras next to TVs that took photos at set intervals to see who was watching the TV at set times. Apparently the cameras caught at least one couple "in the act" not to mention discovering that some viewers were bored pets sitting on the couch...
