I need some karma prayers regarding my job.
I got a new position at work about 2 months ago. It was going fine but this is the kicker, the company that I work for does not believe in proper training. And it really affects those of us like me who don't get the one on one help that they need until something is done wrong. The only reason that I keep my job is because I need food to eat, but sometimes I would rather be a stripper than to come here every morning because there is absolutely no balance. I don't feel like I have anything to hold on to here. If you did not train me on it how am I supposed to know exactly what to do. I swear if this was 10 years ago I could easily leave and find a new job but right now all I have is luck that I have a job - but heart is not into this anymore. This is why I can't sleep at night because I hate my job.

I need karma prayers that everything smooths out because right now I feel like going off.

3. Sounds like the place I work
Edited on Mon Oct-13-08 09:11 AM by SpankieJane
They gave me a new position, never bothered to train me on it, then busted me back down to a position below where I was to start with when I didn't "exceed their expectations". Like you, I'm just in it for the $$ until something better comes along (gotta eat, and I certainly don't have the, er, assets needed for stripping). It's a shame because the company used to be one of the best places around to work. Then we were bought out by a huge conglomerate that basically used us, broke us, then set us free again.

While I'm sending out my energy, I'll send some for you as well.

Been writing angel letters for people lately, and it seems to be working. Okay to write to your angels?

4. My energy level has dropped...
During August my energy level was operating on the ultimate high. I was extremely happy. Since mid September I just want to be left alone. I just want to stay at home, lay in bed and just watch tv. I feel that my sensitvity levels are affected by everything that goes on around me. My brain works in overdrive to the point that it tires me. My senses are heightened. I am noticing things that other people don't notice nor recognize. I don't trust people like I normally do - its almost like I can read minds. I don't know maybe I am clairvoyant afterall and this is just another part of me waking up. Right now all I want to do is sleep. Can doctor's prescribe sleep to a patient? Because that's all I need.

7. Feels like your exhaustion is caused by a big shift
in your energy field. It's your body's way of getting you ready for something big and important. I know it's easier said than done, but if you can, give in to it. Sleep as much as your body tells you to -- if you can.

I know malaise and fatigue are also signs of depression, but that's not what this feels like to me. You're stressed, that's for sure, though. Take b-vitamin complex and extra vitamin c. That should help with the stress.

As for the psychic thing, we all have that intuitive ability. It's just that most of us have stifled it for so long because that's what we're told to do from infancy on. A lot of folks are awakening to that ability now -- due to the global energy shift -- and if you don't fear it, you can use it to your benefit and the benefit of the world.

Just my observation from this end.

I live in the same town as CarolinaPeridot; and strangely enough, I AM a stripper.

10. Hi lildreamer
Yeah, I had a couple of clients were exotic dancers, and they used to say the same thing: not missing much, plus dancing in 4" heels can wreak havoc on one's lower back and knees.

OTOH, not bad $$.

11. 4"?? Try 5" at the least; usually 6" platforms.
Some girls can wear the 7" platforms (you are not feeling the full effect of 6 & 7 inches, because of the graduation to the platform).

I always wear 5" regular pumps on stage. I can't feel the floor otherwise; and being ballet trained; that bothers me.

Not that you wanted to know this, lol.

When I say 'not missing much'; I actually mean in the money dept. at the moment. The clubs are not being run worth a ______ compared to when I started; so the money is down, along with the class and quantity of clientel. One is lucky, in my area, to make $100 free and clear (after paying house fee and tipping out everyone).

In other words, everything everyone always believed about strippers, is NOW true of the girls in the biz for the last few years (excluding those that know better & are older than, say, 25 or so). It's sad, because it does not have to be this way.

....and I'm shutting up now. Sorry about the rambling.

8. Ugh--been there, CP--it's NOT fun
It was like that at my last full-time job. My boss was an ass. I'd ask for help/training--as a NEW employee--and he'd REFUSE. But I did ask, so that was on record. Have you asked your supervisor more than once for some help? If that person didn't help, can you ask someone in a parallel position to the supervisor--someone you trust? (I found out the hard way that it's never a good idea to go over your boss's head--ew bad news there--although it would seem like that would make the most sense...) And of course there's always the option of a visit to HR, if you HR department is of any use (mine wasn't). The important thing is to go on record, to SOMEone, to prove that you did ask for training and did not receive it. Not supporting an employee in a new position is a major transgression for management.

Read your later posts to this, and it seems that with all the other things going on in your spiritual life, you may just be getting ready to fly the coop of that particular job. Sometimes we experience little "separating" actions, like this unsatisfactory new job you're talking about, to prepare us for a new beginning. So that might be in the offing as well--keep an eye/ear out for clues!

In the meantime, I will send protective light for when you're at your workplace and calming vibes to help you sleep. Be well, CP.

13. I feel like I am not the one that should be leaving the job...
Its him. He creates a disturbance in the energy. Always has.

If you're not going to help all of your employees and only some of them then you need to leave. I don't hate my job, I just dislike this negative energy that is in the way of everything. I do know what I am doing but I just double check to make sure I am doing it right so that I am not reprimanded later. Its all a total shift. I feel so exhausted. I can't find my balance. I am going to buy some bamboo to bring me luck at my desk - because I need it.

17. I thought for the bamboo to be lucky, it had to be a
gift to you, not purchasing it for yourself. Maybe that's a mistruth.

At any rate, I'm sending peace-filled blessings your way. When I can't find my balance, I go out into nature, among the trees, and stay there for a couple of hours. Can you remember what used to bring you to your center before this?

19. It's remarkable how the evil employees get off scot free
My boss was the same. I LOVED my job, but he wouldn't let me do it. I complained, I got "demoted" (shifted to a different job); he kept his job and as far as I know wasn't reprimanded in any way.

Try thinking about it this way: Maybe you really should be somewhere better. Maybe your boss's punishment is retaining his job. Who's to say he's not "getting his" in some way that you can't see? I knew that my boss was miserable, and I took comfort in knowing he couldn't cope with the pressure of his job and really didn't want to be there (unfortunately my compassion took a hike when it came to him).

Of course, that doesn't help your own circumstances and how off-balance you feel. I totally understand.

I saw your other post about going to HR. How did it go?
