Pendulum question
Edited on Sun Sep-28-08 10:46 AM by Digit
I attended a job fair, and made it through to an interview. I was directed to upload my resume and noticed that after doing so, the time was 1:11. I smiled.

I fashioned a pendulum and gave it the name test, etc. Five times in recent weeks I have inquired if I would get the job, and the answer indicated was always "yes".

Am I just not being patient enough or could I be doing something wrong?

1. I know that when I was a supervisor, there would often...
be weeks between the interviews and the actual offer being made. There was just a lot of red tape involved. I hope that this is the case for you.

I'm sending good vibes your way; you deserve a break.

3. Practice patience, and have faith.
I recently had similar signs throughout the application/interview process. It was long, somewhat nerve wracking, and the outcome was not what I had hoped. I did, however, come out of it feeling validated as a professional, and grateful for the opportunity to dialogue with a person whom I admire. The disappointment was short term, and my hope for a better outcome is doubled.

4. Patience
If there's one thing I've learned while working with a pendulum is patience. In fact, the pendulum once told me that I needed to wait until the time was right. This was about finding my soul mate--and the pendulum was right. Have patience, and the perfect job will come.
