I accepted a job offer! ...I used the Power of 8 posted on this forum!

I called him this morning and accepted his offer.
I love the bennies, but I did not know the bennies until I accepted!
Two weeks paid vacation
Extra days off at Christmas, and Thanksgiving...paid.
All the drinks I want (sodas) provided daily, free.
We are taken to lunch twice a week.
Casual dress.
Flexible work schedule...just work 40 hours a week.
$250 a month towards buying my own health insurance.
After three months, I get a $2000/yr raise.

This happened in the nick of time. My unemployment runs out this week.
I found him by just calling every number in the yellow pages to ask whether they were considering adding to their staff. You can tell how desperate I was!
I start June 1st!

I was desperate and I began calling all the insurance agencies in my area. Unemployment does not count more than one job application a day, but that little rule did not matter anymore!
In my early real estate days, we would cold call prospects...we called it "smile and dial". I focused on getting in the proper frame of mind, with an upbeat attitude, and just dialed away.
I still think it had to do with the power of 8 though. I have a number 8 stuffed into my bra (no pockets), and the one in my wallet. I don't want my boobs to grow, I just want to keep reminding myself of this power.....ahem.
