What is wrong with DU these days?

Today it hit me, what an energy sucker this place is (not this group) but DU as a whole. The negativity is really getting to me. I think I need to stay away from the DU hellhole and regain my balance, I am in SUCH a bad mood this evening. :( :mad: :grr:

1. The ASAH group has

proved to be a respite for many DU travelers. You can take time here and the energy sucking will still be there if/when you go back.

which makes me ponder over the 8 years of bush & co draining the energy of the people...which in turn is manifesting in various forms...

I think everyone needs healing energy after this...

3. yes I guess it is just a symptom for the disease

of a nation under BushCo. Pretty sad.

4. I look at the front page every morning

and the most striking emotion it evinces in me is ... FEAR. I have been coming here less than usual in order to find more positive things to do to lift my spirit.

This forum is the best place to be on here, imo. Perhaps if we were to regularly direct positive energy to upfront - maybe that would help it a bit?

to the home page if I don't want to do so. The only negative is that you don't see if you have PMs since the PM notification doesn't flash in the groups, but you'd get an E-mail message telling you that you have one.

5. I think the problem is different vibrating energies

I know that many of my posts in the rest of DU have been taken the wrong way by people, and it is obvious why--their mindset is very different from mine. Karen Bishop has wisely stated in her energy alerts that this is a time where those of different vibrations are parting ways. I've seen that in my own life, what with having a new job literally fall into my lap because the previous worker had not done her job and her mindset was not that of the non-profit organization. So it makes sense to me that on DU you'll have this same sort of thing happen.

What I've done is mostly read, and when I comment and inadvertently unleash a flurry of negative responses is to sigh and go on.

And coming here is always a welcome respite.

7. The left gets silenced on the msm,

as we all know. The internet is where we can be heard and share our anger and outrage at the injustices of the world, it is part of a necessary process toward staying healthy. I visualize my and other people's anger as sort of a waste product, it ultimately must be let go of by both the angry person and the listener, but equally important to understand is the human need of being heard and seen. It requires that you stay in your own center and merely witness the anger and not take any of it personal.
Just my 2 cents, I had to learn this the hard way:)
