If so inclined, would you please check out this metaphysical site?
I've recently reconnected with a dear friend, and was delighted to find she has put herself "out there" through a website. She is a very giving woman, very active with children in her community and around the world.

As I told her, for someone like me who gets confused easily by having too many clickable options on a website...lol....her site is beautiful, but a bit overwhelming. If you have a few minutes to sit with it and venture into the different areas, it's really beautiful. She's done a good job.

She been doing readings at Daily Om lately as well, and her site is growing with lots of people subscribing to her "Just for Today" messages. I'm very proud of her, can you tell? ;)

It's kind of hard to get there - too many clicks...lol - but she also has a page of "stuff"...some really cool stuff that I thought some of you may have an interest in. With everything she does, she donates proceeds to the UN World Food Programme.

I suggested different ways of marketing the merchandise more in bulk (for lack of a better word), as there are a few really cool items there, but she feels strongly that it should be a very individual process "to reach the right person, the person meant for it"...one at a time. Good for her. O8)

If anyone goes and interacts at all, please be sure to tell her you're from DU. I've talked about this place a lot, even many years ago, and she'll be delighted to know there are spiritual political types out there! LOL

1. Yes, it's a beautiful site, but it is overwhelming and seems...
cluttered the way that it's set up. I think that it would greatly benefit from some restructuring, but, as you said, the content is really interesting -- there are many hidden treasures, I'm sure.

I think that the products offered are wonderful. I'm going to bookmark this thread so that I can go back periodically to see if she has new offerings.

I'm going to go check it out a bit more now.

She's lucky to have you as an advocate and friend, timeforarevolution.

2. Thanks...and thanks for confirming that it's not just me....
who feels it's cluttered. I think I've developed ADD as I age, because too many things going on at once drive me crazy! I can't take being on a myspace page for more than 10 seconds. LOL

3. You made me think about how I sometimes put Post-it notes...
on my computer screen to cover up images that move. (Animated jpegs, etc.) I just can't stand having things draw my eye away from the thing on which I'm trying to focus. I also hate moving banners at the bottom of a TV screen. x(

I'm with you on the ADD part!

4. It was a little easier for me to read when I started at the home page.

She's going for the feeling of a treasure chest. Given that, I can say that it feels somewhat like that. However, I think that you have to start at the home page to get the feeling and get oriented. (However, it's too wide for my screen, so the entire width of the home page didn't show without using the horizontal scrollbar.)

5. Oh gosh, my bad....
I meant to include the home page, as well as the other link I did include.

Thank you so much. It's REALLY confusing without starting at the home page. LOL. But the images are simply stunning. I get lost in the images. :)
