Do you ever feel like your ESP is in overdrive?

I'm going to try to explain what I mean--however, I'm sort of baffled myself to what is going on with me.

Here goes. My two children have had the stomach flu the past few days and I've been up for the past two nights tending to them. Last night, I finally got them settled and in bed and I was trying to relax with a book. It was silent, but I heard, "mama,mama, come here," a couple of times, so I went barreling into my daughter's room. They were both sound asleep and when I bent down to check on them neither had called for me. I swear I thought I was losing my mind.

THEN,

I was in the kitchen and once again, a tall shadow came from around the corner and scared me. I thought it was my daughter getting up, but it was nothing. All night long I felt something was hounding or better yet, antagonizing me, but couldn't put my finger on it. I woke up exhausted this morning--in fact, I hit the snooze button several times, something I never do, which caused me to over sleep. Wow, is this sleep deprivation or what?

I've always felt that I'm pretty intuitive, so is this just another "level" that I've reached or am I'm simply going mad. (kidding...I think;)

Also, to add to that, my little cat has been following me and staring at me. When I ask her what is it, she just stares. So weird. I can't shake it. Her staring is starting to creep me out. She won't leave my side--and this is a cat that does not like affection.

1. Sometimes. For me, it's still kinda upsetting.

Because I am still new to the reality of psychic abilities, let alone the idea that I actually have some. Last March was CRAZY for me in that regard. Just when I thought my Awakening in August of '06 had been a fluke, all of a sudden, it felt like I couldn't go even a few hours without some psychically significant event occurring (a prediction I'd made coming true, an event I'd forseen in a dream coming to pass, etc). It was really quite disorienting.

3. I might can figure out the highly sensitive

nature of wanting to be alert for my kids, especially since what has happened to Heath Ledger (something else that has resonated with me) so that may be why I'm so hyper-sensitive to any sounds, but the feeling of shadows and this darn cat are what is the real creepers.

I love my cat and this cutie is attentive to me especially ( guess 'cause I'm the only one in the house who feeds them regularly:) but in the last few days it's just been WEIRD. I'm looking at her now and she is staring at me writing this. :wtf: She's EVERYWHERE I go in this house. I even tripped over her this morning 'cause she darted in front of me. It's baffling:crazy:

On the other hand, my other cat--Merlin ;)--could care less about what I'm doing. I know animals have that extra sense, but sometimes I just wish they could tell us what is going on.

6. do you use a pendulum?

I use it when I need some verification for feelings. I've also found that I can ask it to signal if there is more energy-or another being- around that I can't see. If you google "Letter to Robin" you can get a lot of detail about how to use a pendulum to do a lot of things.

2. right now I'm ill

have a bad cold/sore throat. But I somehow realize that it has to do with the changes happening. Last night, I was able to finally get to sleep by doing breath practices and visualizing the pain going away. This morning, it was interesting to watch the colors of my light body change from green to blue and back. Darned if I know what it means, but I'll just wait for an explanation--it will come when it comes.

it might have been this cat that called for you and cast a shadow? He sure seems connected in some way to the phenomenon.

8. Maybe the kitty senses the presence and wants you to get rid of it?

Or maybe even help you send that spirit where it needs to go? Just as in humans animals vary in how sensitive they are. for example I love to rub my forehead on my cat's little noggins. One of my girl cats gives me a palpable buzz when our third eyes touch like a small electric shock.

If I was you I would call upon my spirit guides and allies and then invite any beings of divine light and love who have the source of that shadow's highest good as their intention to take it where it can't cause harm and can be healed of whatever ails it.

9. Not sure it is ESP in overdrive...at least not the stuff with you daughters.

My 2 kids are both out of the house and pop by here several times a week, but sometimes after they leave - now these are my kids of 26 and 23 years of age! - I am certain that I hear their voices (as younger children) calling out "Momma" several times!

I tend to think that this is my maternal instinct of wanting to protect them still in overdrive sometimes, certainly subconsciously, and it now makes me smile. At first it creeped me out and made me a bit anxious...."Are they alright?".......

When I am overtired I almost always have hallucinations and other inputs to my senses. I am not sure if this is just over-stressed senses, or having less normal daily life defensives to incoming "psychic" input. :shrug:

Your communications now with your cat make me laugh out loud. Pets can be so spooky and intriguing! Love it. Wait and see, she might very well be trying to let you know something. Relax and see what may come. I would probably think that my pet was asking for some good love and contact time if I had been busy with others for awhile.....:-)...but you say she doesn't ask for affection....

10. I think there are separate things going on

I am sorry to hear your children are sick. Much healing light to them. :)

When my child was small, I was constantly "hearing" her call me. I think this is just a maternal adrenalin overdrive symptom. As a matter of fact, in my mind, I can still hear that voice.

The shadow, or sense of someone could be an entity. Are your children's grandparents alive? Maybe just someone. who came to comfort them.

As for the kitty, she may need some assistance from you, for what I don't know.

my mother is alive, but my dad is dead, however, today all seems better. My kids are feeling much better and the aura seems clearer.

My cat even has found a spot to sleep in tonight---the living room chair. She hasn't been following tonight. I was in an anxiety mode last night and maybe she sensed my worry and was worried for me :shrug: This is interesting 'cause I can think of several other weird times she's been glued to me during stress. Interesting.


The other cat always jumps in my lap and goes to sleep there. He's about 20 pounds of pure cat!

I think their behavior is so fascinating.

14. When I'm ill

and especially when I had oral surgery a few months ago, my cat stays right by my side. He even gives up his outdoor activities and sleeps near me wherever I am. Maybe that's it. He was taking care of you :)

11. at times I have felt "shifts"

I think psychic type things can come in batches. I'm not sure why. For some reason I am always hearing things. That is especially true in that time between being asleep and awake.

As for the shadow, there are actual entities many, many places. Mostly we don't sense them in any way but when we are in a heightened state of awareness, or over some sort of grid line or something, we can--usually in the form of a shadow or sometimes a voice. That may have actually been the source of the "mama, mama, come here" as they sometimes aren't exactly the type of energy that is super helpful, if you know what I mean. Often they are "lower spirit" type things. If this continues, you might want to clear your house and your aura and see what happens. Sleep is too important.
