Question about Pluto
I've been seeing news about Pluto coming into Galactic Center this November and channeling that energy through to 2012. The news I get is that Pluto is a sort of psychic cleanser and during this time and will sanitize our minds from all the pollution we have been receiving. I hear its similar to the god Shiva, brining death and destruction to the old (self) and restoring a new cleansed one. Something like that anyway.

Does anyone know more about this?

1. here's a little...
http://ezinearticles.com/?Pluto-on-the-Galactic-Center&id=653961

I think that this new Pluto cycle has the potential for transformation in our ability to understand more intuitively the natural law wisdom and information that may be emanating from the galactic center. Clearly, a new cycle is beginning, and where the old dies, events intensify while birthing the new. Many ideas and behaviors will come up in direct contradiction to what may be coming, simply because people try desperately and passionately to hold on to things that may be dying. Change is rarely graceful.

Pluto may represent the evolution of our consciousness, and because this is coinciding with the end of several major cycles in different traditions, the shift we experience and recognize may be one of tapping into the natural order of the universe instead of staying in our limited conditioning of man-made law, especially of the last 6000 years of patriarchal rule. If the Galactic Center has the gravitational energy of the galaxy in Sagittarius, which embodies, energy, aspiration, motivation, joy, truth and intuitive understanding, and as the center has the energies of the source of consciousness, then if one can tune into how this energy affects them personally, changes in consciousness can be huge during the next almost two years of Pluto’s transit across the Galactic Center.

Although not an actual planet but a point on the chart, like the nodes of the moon, the GC point on your chart is very powerful. It is an area where deep truths about the natural order of things can be realized. Everyone has it somewhere and everyone has an opportunity to change deeply their way of thinking with this event. If you have anything in the mutable signs of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces that aspects 26:55 within about 3 degrees (23 – 29 degrees) then the impact may be undeniable. Which house and what planets, in conjunction with the overall themes of the chart will fill in the specifics.

3. Thanks, Dist
I have Venus in Virgo either in House 2 or 8. The degree is about the same for both, 25-26.
And Mars in Sagittarius in House 5 or 11, degree 25-26.
My birth time has recently come into question and until I get a copy of my birth certificate from the state, it will remain so

I feel, at last some action! I am so ready for changes.

2. and another
I haven't had time to read this one...

http://www.foolishpeople.com/foolishpeople/2007/01/the_second_is_t.html

How the Conjunction effects particular indviduals will depend on how Pluto is placed in their chart, those who have it prominent, such those with Scorpio Sun signs, Moon signs or Rising signs, or with Pluto well placed will generally benefit from it, though perhaps in way not free of pain and loss, those lacking this may find the Conjunction is not so kind to them (perhaps at best missing them) though for most people Pluto is a malefic. Its area activity will depend on its position in their natal chart, for instance Taurus and Leo ascendents will benefit from the sexual aspects more than any other, in the long run, while Pisces ascendents will benefit more from the political aspects (the same applies to the Sun signs, but not as strongly). Those with Pluto in the Second House may find the Conjunction either emotionally draining or rewarding depended on how its aspected etc etc. How the energies are actually consciously worked with will also make a difference. A general rule of thumb is that those attached to old institutions and ways will suffer while those attached to progressive movements and new modes of life will generally prosper.

4. I have Pluto in the 12th house, but near the cusp of the first
and have four planets in Pisces (7th house), three of them a stellum (Mars, Venus, Jupiter). I take it that this will be a time I will be noticing things, don't you think?

6. My Personal Experience
Edited on Sat Nov-17-07 11:49 AM by Crab Nebula
I am in the midst of a HUGE Pluto transit right now,
and I find it quite intriguing that Pluto is also closing
in on the GC around the same time.

Transiting Pluto is conjunct my 29-Sagittarius Ascendant,
opposing my 0-Cancer Sun and 24-Gemini Saturn,
also square to my 0-Aries Mars and 1-Libra Pluto.

Recently, my partner of the last 12 years and I have
separated, and I am taking steps to move out of the
house that we bought together only a few months ago.
After the initial pain started to fade I realized that
all this is necessary in order for me to grow into my
potential. There was a part of me that desperately wanted
to cling to the old situation, but whenever I acted on
said desperation, it just felt totally wrong. I knew in
my gut that I needed to let go, but my darker side didn't
want to let go. But now I have shown light into the darkness,
and I am beginning to feel, whole?

Also, for the first time in my life I think
I have sufficient motivation to quit smoking.

After accepting Pluto's gift of pain and loss,
and understanding that this is,
in the long run,
for my greater good,
I feel more at peace with myself than
I have since I was a very small child.

edited to add:

interesting, on 10 January 2012 Pluto will
exactly conjunct my 7-Capricorn North Node
