Mercury is said to rule the mind in astrology---I find it ironic
that the metallic substance, when found in poisonus levels in humans, affects the mind and the ability to communicate, i.e. autism.

The Environmental Protection Agency last week doubled its estimate of the number of children annually exposed to unsafe levels of mercury in the womb from 320,000 to 630,000."
