I did the deed--gave my notice today! (I couldn't do it tomorrow because the VP is going to be tied up in a meeting for most of the day.)

I'm free! I'm free! Well, actually, I gave two weeks' notice--I don't know why I'm being so nice!

Anyway, it went just as I predicted--took about a minute and a half. "Well, you do what you think is best..." Yeahhhhh he's not going to miss me at all, and probably did a happy dance right after I left!

Meh. He didn't know what to do with me anyway--no matter that I'm one of the best writers and editors he's got--and I don't need to work for a guy who's at that much of a loss to keep me busy.

Oh--and get this--he said "I thought things were starting to work out!" In what parallel universe? He threw me out of my office, stripped me of my job and my title, and has left me with some vague bunch of tasks (but of course says I'm "very important")--and I'm supposed to be happy about that and say "Thank you sir, may I have another"?

Oh my, the corporate world is stranger than I thought. But it doesn't matter, because I'm DONE! And it was all thanks to my friends here at work, DH (of course), and YOU guys. Thank you SO much for all your support!

(Now be nice to OceanSpirit--she's stuck in this hellhole for a while--hey, let's manifest a great new job for her--whaddya say? :) )

Onward and upward to writing and raising MG Jr. in the Spirit--what could be better? :)

Yea, it's true i'm stuck in the HH for awhile, but I am out there looking. I don't know how long I will last without my very bestest friend not by my side (LOL):scared:

She's a wonderful wonderful person all, and I want you all to take care of her in her transition from the horrible corporate world to a full time mommy and a freelancer. She'll be great at it.

We had a conversation today about my own kids, who are much older than MG jr. My kids are 24 and 21, Both of them, daughter and son, make me so proud most of the time I could cry. I told MG that I believe the way they turned out is because they had me home with them guiding the way for their travels in the adult world. One with morals, and trials and major tribulations.

She will NEVER regret leaving the world of crappy, unfair business, to raise her wonderful child. What a dream he is. We tease that he's my boyfriend. He's such a cutie, and smart, woooo man, you wouldn't believe what he comes up with I love him like my own.

Please send special blessings and wonderful white light her way. MG, it may be a bit difficult but hang in there my dear, this is way better than surfing the net all day long. LOL. I'll keep you updated on the drama from day to day. We'll definitely do lunch. Pita Pocket Place or whatever it's called.
