What is it about today??
The fan planet conjuncts the doo-doo planet??

A bail bondsman called me today and told me a woman I know is in jail. And not getting out anytime soon. her husband took off to california and wouldn't send her any money to feed the kids. He is willing to let his kids starve. he is a giant vortex of negative suck. Right wing fundamentalist who is totally negative.

Less than an hour later a longtime friend called me and said she was in trouble, i needed to come right over. Turned out she had overdrawn her bank account and was upset.

1. Saturn is stationing. rumble rumble rumble
It's heavy.

Stuff we haven't wanted to address can acquire the gravitas of a falling anvil.

~KLUNK~

Venus just changed signs so people may be a bit hyper to boot.

One eclipse down, two to go.

That's just for starters.

Things will lighten up over time. Till then we've all just got to deal.

Chin up & best.

I'm sure you're lending your friends tremendous strength.

3. I checked on the kids and they are all right.
The man's problem is that he is a control freak and married a woman who was young and naive.
And easily controlled.
Well, they have almost grown kids now, and she's STILL naive and I think that's why she got tangled up with bad people. I also suspect that her personality did not form adequately and she is a different person depending on what kind of people she is around.

2. Whatever is in the stars lately is just AWFUL.
My entire life has gone to shit so badly that it's almost funny. I've grown tired of living anything that smacks of a lie - I can't abide it any longer. I also feel like I'm seeing all my crap laid bare and have this overwhelming need to purge a lot of stuff. I don't like this person I've become. I realized that I don't like a person who I've been friends with for 20 years - I no longer want to hold onto what I found out has been a lie, which was exposed when she came to visit a couple weeks ago. Perhaps it's not the stars, but a mid-life crisis?

4. Interesting.
I have a good friend from childhood who is also friends with another woman we grew up with, and they have had a serious falling out. I never cared for this woman, the friend of my friend, because I always knew her to be insincere and mean spirited. But now my pal has found out for sure that this is true. Instead of feeling vindicated, I feel almost sad about it because I know that they have been friends for so long and hate to see it end for both of them. But I'm afraid the split is impossible to fix. Long story, but the gist of it is that the friend came into an inheritance and now feels free to say whatever was on her mind all these years to my pal - and it isn't what my pal expected to hear. She let it be known that this woman was unsuitable as a companion because of her impoverished upbringing and that she does not approve of her choice in men. And she did it in such a way that it hurt deeply.
Theres a lot of this going on, I'm afraid.

5. Money changes people.
Sometimes we don't know ourselves.

If people have enough, or are comfortable with their circumstances, things seem normal. Money changes those who don't have enough, or have too much.

If I ever come into a lot of money, I will try to be careful. I want to provide for those I love, but give money away, too.

Maybe your acquaintance will wake up and work things out.

6. Saturn's station @ 10 degrees of Libra is compelling us all
Edited on Fri Jun-10-11 04:24 AM by stellanoir
to reexamine all sorts of interpersonal dynamics.

Libra craves balance.

Saturn disdains imbalance and wasteful inefficiency. It lends a blinding clarity that is seemingly absolute and can be exacting, often demanding a brutal self honesty. Yet over time, it's an enormous relief. It simplifies matters with a stunning and irrevocable force.

Midlife crisis is often seen by astrologers to be a generic cycle that is brought about by Uranus' opposition and Saturn's second opposition. It's really termed as a "crisis' by the psychological community who more than likely, see the extreme aberrations inherent to the cycles. Can be and is far more frequently graceful than their observations would suggest.

At the very least it's a reorientation of priorities. Ideally it balances that which is internal with one's external circumstances. The degree of crisis is often predicated by the degree of disparity within and without.

Saturn is stationing in Libra for all. The oppositions are age specific.

Legal and financial hassles (debts not generally swindles) are notoriously Saturnine.

Though this sort of influence can feel as though it'll never pass or find its resolution, it invariably does. One's healing appears to depend on one's ability to adapt and let go of that which is no longer sustaining our growth.

Growing past friendships can indeed be harrowing and there is really no need to burn bridges and leave excessive carnage in our wakes. That only creates more of a mess anyhow.

"Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries" can be a really helpful mantra.

Maybe it helps to be mindful that when one feels a deep connection with another, it's nearly impossible to discern whether that person is a powerful and transient catalyst, or one of those rare and treasured keepers for a lifetime to whom one rarely needs to explain themselves.

If one has more than a handful of those, one is truly blessed.

8. 10 degrees Libra is my ascendant
Stella, what do you think that means for me?
I hope you don't mind that specific question.

15. Questions are never problematic.
Finding the time to answer them when I'm garden obsessed sometimes is though. :)

Saturn stationing on your ASC will get your full attention every time.

Without knowing your full chart I'll just offer up the generic schpeil on Saturn hitting the primary personal points.

As you probably are well aware, Saturn is the archetypal authority figure. Regardless of one's age, it can feel as though an enormous authority figure is looming over you with it's finger pointed directly down at you whilst saying. . ."Young lady !!! You have done all the things you ought not to have done and you have not done all the things you ought to have done. " It can really reduce any person to a pip squeak until one arrives at at place of self acceptance where one just responds by saying, "So what !!!" and gets on with it.

One rarely gets to know themselves better than they do when Saturn is transiting the ascendant. It can be a harrowing process of personal inventory. Again, that archetypal voice will go "This is what you're not. This is what you're not. Aaand this is what you're not." Through this process one can eliminate illusions around one's self image and distill their essence down to it's purist form. "This is what you are." It can be amazingly affirmative with no fluff.

Given that we're talking about Libra try to avoid comparisons of your lot in life to the circumstances of others because that is an utterly hopeless trap. We can't really be clear about those ridiculous greener grass scenarios when we're all a mixed bag of advantages and disadvantages on this sphere. (Funny, I recently saw on the tube a geeky guy actually explaining why the grass is indeed greener from other perspectives. It was because of the light hitting the blades of grass optimizing reflection from certain angles.)

The transit simplifies matters so that one is less prone to chase windmills for a while and can focus on what is more accessibly productive.

Over time this process will be invaluable to you.

Would have to have greater familiarity with your chart and more sleep to explain further.

PM me if you are so inclined.

Oh and the pending Plutonian and Uranian influences are certainly nothing to sneeze at. Yikes.

7. It's really interesting when you discover
that someone you thought was "friend" is really not. I too have ended yet another relationship in this life. But, it's important to let go and keep on going. I have been shocked to the core a couple of times about people that I loved and realized I was the only one loving and the other was tolerating/using me. That part hurts more than the others.

I think this is a clean up life for me and I have run into people from past lives so frequently that I can't tell you how many. I hope that with this death, I learn how to walk out of my skin instead of gripping it like a blanket and dragging myself through this experience again.

14. Whatever was in the air yesterday left me super pissed.
I'm chocking it up to transiting Mars in Taurus, which has never been fun. I was livid. Not pretty. Other than that--fine. Sorry others are having a hard time of it.

17. I cut off email with a libertarian.
I said I was quite disturbed that Ron and Rand Paul are virulently anti-abortion. She insisted libertarians are not anti abortion.
I told her we needed universal health care. She said the charities should take care of all the needy people. I told her that the charities can't feed all the hungry people adn there are many specialized functions that only the state can provide.

She should not drive on a public road or buy anything since "taxation is slavery".
She should move to Somalia - there's no government there.

18. Charities?
I like Dickens take on this, as expressed by Ebenezer Scrooge:

"Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?"

That needs to be thrown in a few libertarian faces.
