For the next six months especially, he's got a lot of stressful crap coming his way. I'm hoping its connected with the complete and total collapse of his plot to achieve world domination.

1. Cheney is operating on borrowed time; His dreams shall perish with him.

I have to stop myself many, many times from wanting and wishing a crushing ill sweep of misfortune upon this wretched man for all of the people he has hurt, innocent lives he has destroyed, and crimes he has committed against nature and the world itself.

But if you really think about it, Cheney is already suffering quite dearly now. His body's health is steadily deteriorating. He suffers from heart failure, the outcome of at least five heart attacks during his lifetime, one roughly every four years on average. As a result, he is becoming increasingly bloated and sickly. He obviously cannot move about very long without having to submit to significant down time and monitoring, hence his long periods of reclusiveness. He's supposedly now having surgery to repair not one, but two aneurisms, one in each leg.

Cheney may have accumulated massive amounts of wealth and power during his lifetime by means of criminality and deceit. However, he will never be able to truly enjoy his ill-gotten gains. Each of his days is a desperate battle to cling to both life and power. In the very end, however, the former can only abandon him, and the latter cannot possibly save him.

And I think you hit it on the nail. However, if you used astrology I would like to know exactly what transits (or progressions) you're looking at. If it's just psychic feelings, then so be it. I think you are right.

3. I do study astrology, but i'm a novice.

And then there's the whole ethical issue as to whether astrologers should even be in the business of predicting anyone's death, which I really don't think they should be.

At any rate, this isn't so much from astrological observations as it is from a general "feeling" that Cheney doesn't have anywhere near as long as he believes. Now whether that's another 5 weeks or another 5 years is anyone's guess, but let's just say that I think the end of his reign of terror and destruction will arrive rather prematurely, from his perspective. Certainly, it cannot arrive too soon for us.

4. I'm not hoping for his death

I want to see him tried before the country and rightfully held accountable for his sins. Not evil stuff, only justice for all those he's oppressed and hurt.

7. I think so too

I don't know why but I sense that Cheney will be getting the karma first before Bush. Things will go bad for him beforehand. Perhaps since he is the mastermind or part of it anyways.

5. Cheney's Uranus is pressured by some Yods this month.

Note: I'm using the term Yod as Robert Hand defined it (not originally) in a text from 1981. I've recently seen a definition by Nicholas Campion that includes an additional point by adding an opposition along its length.

On the day of Cheney's surgery, the 24th, there are two Yods in effect as global transits:
1. Saturn (Leo) sextile Mercury (Libra) both quincunx Uranus (Pisces).
2. Jupiter (Libra) sextile Pluto (Sag) both quincunx Mars (Taurus).


One of these Yods hits Cheney's natal Uranus. Since surgery was involved, guess which one? Yod number two. Receiving a cut is typical with Mars and Uranus. On the 24th of September, Mars was less than 1 degree separating from natal Uranus. Mars will station and retrograde on October 2, passing back over natal Uranus. Getting cut is not all that can happen with Mars-Uranus, all sorts of fires to be extinguished can hit.

On Oct 3, a new Yod that points to Mars forms, involving transiting Mercury replacing Jupiter's previous position of the 24th, and Mars moves back to Cheney's Uranus. Mercury is a fast mover, so this Yod only lasts for about a day, afterward, the Moon joins Mercury on the 4th, triggering the Yod momentarily. On October 15th, transiting Sun once again reforms the Yod, this time transiting Mars is right on Cheney's Uranus, with only a few minutes of separation. There is a second synastry Yod formed that points at transiting Sun, and involves both transiting and natal Moons conjuncting each other at 3:31am, as well squaring the transiting Pluto leg of the Yod with Mars conjunct Cheney's Uranus. This can be seen on a 12th harmonic chart for that day.

During the latter third of September, Saturn applies to oppose his 6th house Sun -- it is also squaring his natal 9th house Saturn-Jupiter conjunction. He's feeling the pressure of restriction, nor is he able to work much harder with his deteriorating condition and age, he'll be melancholic and will be internally examining what has gone wrong.

Mars remains in retrograde until December 11, when it stations-direct and conjuncts Cheney's Saturn-Jupiter conjunction.

The stents he had placed in the aneurysm on September 24 aren't known to be long lasting near joints because of the movement and stress in those locations. Will there be issues with these stents as Mars passes back over his Uranus? Or might there be other issues, as the Yods and Mars continue to pressure Cheney's Uranus? Certainly, his health is deteriorating--and there's plenty of upsets in store.
