Biopsy Results......

Dr. called me this afternoon, the one who did the "bukkel biopsy" and said that because they didn't get enough tissue, the results are inconclusive, and that I should reschedule another one after the Holiday. He said the only thing they could derive from it was that my saliva glands were full of inflammation. Next time he is going to use a scalpel instead of the probe that "yanked out" a big chunk of the inside of my lip!!! I had a good discussion with him, but he's trying not to give me too much hope. He said this problem could be chronic because it's usually a sign of my immunity being suppressed. I'm at my wits end, but TRYING to be positive. Tonight, I am pleading for a MIRACLE...your prayers and light and all the good vibes you can conjure up. I see my GP tomorrow to have some more discussion about this, as well as a new anti depressant. I'm beginning to get that hopeless feeling again, and they say that stress is a contributing part to my illness. I've also got an appt. to see a chiropractor on Jan. 5th. The disc's in my back are messing with the nerves in my left hip. Woke up the past two nights in excruciating pain radiating around the upper groin area of my left thigh. I sat straight up in bed from a sound sleep and just had to get up. I rubbed in some asper-cream and that helped get me back to sleep on the couch. I'm going to do some follow up reading on one of the posts I saw here recently re honey and cinnamon to see if they help the immune system. I welcome any feedback, and I wish I knew what God and the Universe are trying to tell me!!! LUV YA, JA

1. Dear Janus....

When you use herbs..it takes a while for them to kick in..usually at least three weeks or more.
Is there anyway you can find a naturalpath if this Dr's procedures don't help you?
They have ways of building the immune system.
You might also want to ask about using Burdock, dandelion root and nettle tea...but check with a naturalpath and your dr when you use herbs to be sure it wont conflict with any meds.
I gave you a big zap...you were very buzzy indeed but you should get some relief now.
I am sure many others will be sending you energy as well. :)
There was a nasty spot on the left area around the lung area that slightly startled me but it is now gone.
Also you will find you will have much better energy after your visit to the chiro.
If you see a chiro..you should be feeling much better after just a few visits. Tell them to fix and align everything that is out..your hips, your back and your neck..as they are all out....not just one thing and have you come back for the next one....ask for the whole alignment at once if they will.
I only tell you this as I have run into a couple that will drag it out if they can get away with it.
Are you still doing the little energy booster meditation I gave you to do? It will help your immune system to do it every day at least once a day.
Keep your chin up..be brave and I believe you will be finding some answers and some relief soon. Sometimes we have to go through the whole song and dance before they find what it is...just keep persevering and see the Dr's and you will be feeling better soon. :)

16. Thanks for the ZAP! I felt it yesterday.

My Doc gave me a prescription for Welbutrin as a new anti depressant. Took one this AM and for some reason haven't felt like doing much posting today, 'cause I was angry all day. Don't know why for sure...hope it's not the new meds. I've used them before to help mood swings during menopause, and to help quit smoking. I owe a lot of posts here, so I hope I feel in better spirits tomorrow!! Happy New Year to you too!! LUV YA JA PS....this may be a plus side of my dilemma. I've lost 12 lbs. since my last Dr.'s visit !! Much needed for my back and knees etc. I'm eating smaller portions as I have no appetite, and everything tastes the same (like crap!) Sweets are especially unappetizing as the sugar seems to irritate my throat! All those beautiful home baked Xmas goodies are in the freezer...just waiting!!!

If so, get him/her to test the supplements you are taking.

I can only imagine your mental state. I would be in terror. My personal immune builder is echinacea. Goldenseal root is one of the most powerful anti microbials I know. Also myrrh is even more powerful. If this inflammation is microbial, then this is something you might want to try. If it is viral, then usnea is a wonderful anti viral herb. Of course, as someone else noted, this is not like an antibotic and will take a few days to feel real results.

You have certainly been going through health hell and i'm sending you love and light also...and do you have any peridot?...even little ones in jewelry or a piece of raw...i have found that it is the most powerful stone for healing the physical body...it's not expensive and well worth a try maybe...get well soon!:hug:

I have had my share of immunity and inflammation issues, so I feel for you. It sucks to feel like your body is trying to turn on you!

Been reading the Gregg Braden book about spontaneous healing and belief...so please know that it IS possible! we just need to convince your cells that you are healthy ;) and that starts inside you...and maybe some assistance holistically with anti inflammation will help! I pray you can find the resources you need to facilitate this healing.

(I had to finally get help with some really hard core meds that supress the immune system so that i would stop attacking myself..but I have been able to get into remission and even have dialed down my shots to one every 2 weeks, rather than 2 shots PER week!) the meds helped me get the worst under control so I could begin to feel alive again, like there was some hope for healing...that HOPE factor was the hardest part to muster on my own, for sure.

so I am focusing on your health, hope and healing, and knowing that it is ALREADY so! Please keep looking for alternatives because even if they are placebos, what matters is what your body and heart believe!

Another suggestion: Affirmations!! Write down positive affirmations and put them in an area where you will see them often (computer screen, bathroom mirror, etc.) I carry mine around in my pocket. Then, say them with meaning each time you see them.

I've had excellent results with chiropractics in the past, and the "professionals" have done diddly squat for me(so far). As a matter of fact, Chiropractors are the only medical professionals that will touch homeopathic healing, acupuncture and herbal remedies ,in my area! What makes you think it's not a good idea for me?

19. I heard a story on the news this AM!!

"They" are trying to pass a law prohibiting Choropractors from doing "neck adjustments" on anyone, because "they" say it has caused some folks to have strokes. Did you hear about this? My former Ch. stopped doing neck adjustments on me because I have what he called a "military neck". When I tip my head back or up for any length of time, I get dizzy spells. He said this is because doing so cut's off the blood supply to my brain, and is too dangerous. I intend to inform the new one tomorrow about this. In case you are wondering about the "military neck" thingy...most people have an arch inward at the base of their skull. I don't...mine is perfectly straight from the base of the skull to the shoulder. Like a military person standing at attention !!! Until my back problems started I'd always had what one could call "perfect posture" Standing straight and tall....never any slouching. I understand your concern...but I just found out that this new guy is also trained in holistic med and acupuncture, diets and etc. Therefore I am looking forward to very long talk and session with him. Maybe he's the one that can help me arrive at an answer to my "taste" problems too?? I'll keep you all posted on how it goes!!

:hug: :hug: :hug: Curcimin (from turmeric) is an excellent anti-inflammatory, regardless of whether it is a pathogen, an auto-immune disorder, or something else. If you eat it as part of, say, curry rice, it will put the compound right where it's needed.
