The F**k It Way
Cross-posting this from a post in The Lounge, since I don't think anyone over there will especially care, considering the added philosophy of this. I originally found it sifting through the radio show archives at Hay House.

the fuck it way

Saying ‘Fuck It’ is like massage for the mind –
Relaxing you, releasing tension, giving up on things that aren’t working.
John C. Parkin argues that saying Fuck It is a spiritual act:
That it is the perfect western expression of the eastern ideas of letting go, giving up and finding real freedom by realising that things don’t matter so much (if at all).

This is The Fuck It Way.

It works very simply: if you’re feeling stressed about something, say Fuck It… you feel instantly better.

Has anyone heard of this? It sounds like an interesting idea :)

2. I know what you mean :)
Now we have "permission" to use it and have a legitimate reason to back us up :D

3. Sounds like the "Whatever" way I discovered yesterday.
I was dealing with a particularly whiney client, and things were starting to escalate. I finally said "whatever" when he was going on and on about something that was exactly the same thing as I was talking about, but he wouldn't listen to me. When I said that, I instantly felt relaxed, and let go of trying to get him to listen to me. He did get upset and hung up on me, but he called back 5 minutes later, and he was quite nice.

So, "Whatever" or "F**k it", they both work well.

5. Ha! Love it!
Would explain how that word became a constant companion thru the Bush years and is edging off considering now. Good start to the day - great laugh! Thanks!

6. I'm not one to encourage use of prescription drugs, however...
...this may be one you want to ask your Doctor about:

8. I keep looking for the small print on this one.
Have you ever noticed the small print on drug ads that describes how use of the drug can give you OTHER problems? (You could find, "May cause nausea, vomiting, bleeding of the stomach, and excessive sweating..." on the bottom of an aspirin ad these days--ya know?) We always joke about the "anal leakage" issue because it seems like every other drug causes anal leakage...

I have YET to find any fine print on a Fukitol ad, and I have yet to have any side effects other than an increase in well being.

10. The only side effects
are the heads exploding around you because you won't play the crazy game.
