Missing PC - Can we reassure eachother that this will all be okay?

I know that PC has taken a leave of absence indefinately, which is fine...so we can each use our own intuitions, visions etc to speak the turth..

But I miss hearing that Obama has it under control and is unraveling the tangles of deceit. I need to be reminded that the tangles of these powerhungry bastids are being unravled and that both sides will be losing people who are not in alignment with a better country and new age.

WE have been talking about the insanity "out there" and the need to unplug and NOT listen to it anymore...but what about facilitting the change we know has to happen!? how do we get from here to there?
I want the wars OVER, and the criminals who profited rom them locked up
I want poverty to be a thing of the past and people to be more compassionate and helpful with eachother
I want the environment to be healed, and humans to stop their 'evil ways' with waste and pollution
I want my sister to get her house back
I want my health to be taken seriously by the doctors who are treating me...not put on a "list" and never called for an appt.
I want a JOB!
I want to feel like it is REALLY happening...that the shift isn't just an illusion we have created to make ourselves feel better...like the fundies and their 'end of days'...

I'm sorry, just getting so fucking frustratd by al this madness...I KNOW it has only been 6 months in Obama's admin, I KNOW we are still "2 years" away from the BIG shift...but DAMMITT - when is it gonna GIVE?

In truth, we are in the midst of a rather enormous paradigm shift.

It is unprecedented

It is being preceeded by a purge wherein all sorts of low level crap, previously unseen, is burbling up to the surface.

Yeah, I'm completely disgusted and appalled that bigotry, hatred, insensitivity, deceit, torture, racism, and homophobia, has entered the public dialogue in this still new millennium.

Then I take a couple steps back and gain a modicum of perspective and realize that these horrific forces have influenced most of recorded history, and warrants parsing and total exposure.

I will always believe that there is more that unites us than that which divides us.

Most folks are fundamentally compassionate and share the same concerns.

Consider being open to that possibility and maybe some magic can enter your life.

Thanks Stella...Funny enough, my life personally is really groovin right now... freelancing is busy enough to keep me from feeling totally useless, I am up for an editor position that I have been coveting for years, got a new beau that is really growing on me, and my health is relatively holding steady (though I'd like to NOT have to be taking Enbrel)...

It is definately just the energy of the 'world at large'
you are roght, these things are bubbling out because they have to be exposed to the light so we can rework them and heal them...it just feels really shitty. Sucks being an empath right about now!

5. I am not a good activist

I get mad at injustice and lies. Right now our country looks like a cartoon, if someone put the goings on of today into a novel with I was a kid it would have been too far-fecthed to get published, IMO. I am wondering if that isn't a good thing? There are a lot of nasty attitudes that Americans have a tendency to "respect", but looking like an idiot isn't one of them. I keep hoping everyone else, besides just us, turns around one day and realizes that they have been taking Daffy Duck way too seriously. And Elmer Fudd isn't an authority on anything. Does the Universe lets everyting deteriorate into complete foolishness until people catch on? I don't know but it seems like that. I would have thought they would have seen enough silly stuff during the election, but their carefully ingrained greed has taken some back over, coaxing them to listen to Foghorn Leghorn whispering in their ear from the right. He tells them that if they allow anyone to get health care, they won't have things as good as they have them now, they will have something taken away from THEM. Greed and Lies; conservative's gold. I hope it is the last act of the Buggs Bunny Opera, and he can take off that silly dress. Elmer was sorry to have killed the "Wabbit" in the end, even he woke up!

12. Oh, my...this was just the thread I needed after clicking on that

awful video of that hateful preacher on the first page. I was so viscerally offended it was almost an out-of-body experience, and yet I was enough in my body to feel nauseous and tearful. Still reeling, I came here for solace and got it. Thank you ALL for lifting me up and reminding me that this ugliness is part of the process of purging it. Without exposing it to the light we can't ever rid ourselves of it.

I have been saying this, so I'm glad to hear it from a reputable source.

This is a time of change, indeed, and as it is a slope and not a switch being hit, it will take effort and patience. The trend is indeed positive, but the uglies will continue to struggle against us as we work for the new world (until their very nature makes it impossible for them to continue).

India and China are ramping up as the World's economic/industrial powers. The Maharishi stated years ago that India would indeed be the new center of the world. Don't look to America to regain its long position of wonton consumerism and materialism. It just can't happen anymore. That karma is coming home to roost. I doubt that we'll end up a 3rd world power, but the days of partying while most of the world starves or wars, are over.

I don't see what you wrote as completely negative Fire Walk With Me, I have had an intense sense for years that things weren't right, and sometimes I could almost get a sense of how they should be in this country, less consumerism and materialism, more community and humanity, some actual concern for nature and our fellow people. Even a sort of "vision" of communities of smaller, closer homes built around shared green-space as a future norm. I have just been overwhelmed at times with the feeling that all was not as it should be in the US. We have been like drunken sailors on leave and now we are hung over trying to find our ship before it sails. The headache is hell, but what choice do we have if we want to get a clear head?

32. I am one who had some light when I was born, but was overwhelmed through vulnerability

and highly negative situations regarding the repeated trashing of my boundaries...which were lessons in surrender and ego puncturing, but I spent many years in hate and self-destruction, and lashing out against those who take advantage and gloat (and of course, attracted it into my own life through fighting it.

I still tend to post from a "negative" viewpoint, but see yesterday's Karen Bishop post...it just cannot be said without a sense of extreme change featuring the harsh loss of the current state of the world. It is important to stay in your own positive space...please put me on ignore if it helps you to do so. I just have a too-passionate investment in the end of the old and the establishment of the new, which I feel has taken a bit to long in getting here ;)

Just that others in our society would see it as negative. You didn't come across that way. I identify with you regarding the hate and self-destruction, been there/done that ;) I am sure I am a much slower mover into the positive than most here. But I still keep having these "thoughts" that we can and perhaps will be so much better. Or at the very least should, without all this materialistic focus. Our values have to change. And if there is a future, I see a potential for us to value things we have currently cast aside for sake of materialism.

I had another thought today, that China and/or India would be the next target for the multi-national monster corporations, already are, and that this might lead to a breath of fresh air for our country. I have been to China and that country is already being environmentally wasted by pollution, and the people brain-washed into extremist capitalism while under a government that isn't chosen by the people. This would be even more desirable to the big corporations than our country. Perhaps that isn't a bad thing in the long (or not so long) run for us, though I feel for the people of those countries. I just feel that greed and destruction will follow the major corporations anywhere they put their focus. Could it be possible for the US to actually have some space to heal if they decide to focus somewhere else? Or do they think they can destroy the entire world all at once and end hope for humanity? Somehow I see green-space and community in our future, and I can't for the life of me figure out how.

I feel like Europe is doing better than us in many ways, and the Euro isn't the monetary standard of the world, like the dollar is.

the biggest issue is so many people resisting the light and turning away from the positive. they are doing it out of fear, a sense of lost power, a sense of exposure, a sense of expected revenge -- a world changing faster than they can keep up with. so they attack the weakest and weirdest thing they see, the hand of power being friendly and outstretched towards them. if Obama was overbearing and told them to fear and obey, easily half of them would without question. but thankfully that age is passing away and those skills are losing currency.

pray for these lost people. they have a karmic trial ahead of them, and they are resisting (which means it will end up going even harder for them). but also stop dwelling on their every outburst. this feeds them energy to continue more antics. this feeds their sense of import and sense that this is their moment to recover their power. it cannot come back; there's nothing to come back to in the first place. and second, if they did regain control the nation will implode and greater crashes of karma will evaporate this nation.

that's not what is planned for us, though. we are going to be diminished (no more world hegemony), but there's no plans to wipe us out. and this part requires us to build networks of light energy... we need to live and love again, reconnect with neighbors and friends, share light and positivity in an effort to banish darkness and confusion. our time now is to bring light into our heart and spread it out at this crucial time. our loving networks of people will be important when a new, larger transition comes. bringing light into hearts helps speed up and ease the transition, so turn off the media if you need to retain your light-based emotional center.

29. Agreed. The human ego is extremely difficult to transcend, and we are staring at a time of forced

change: transcend, or go back. This has been nearly impossible for me, for example, but it IS slowly working. Most of my life, I've been terrified to show my light, especially easy manifestation/holistic learning...people used to be extremely uncomfortable, and I had no ability to be comfortable just being that way. I hid myself too far beneath ugliness to "go native". I am ashamed at having turned from what I came to share/demonstrate, but it is now far far safer to be in the light, and to receive what God wishes for us to have.

It HAS always been a case of "I know that this is not right. This is not even remotely right. What is possible and true are all that should be.". Now it is time for what is right and true. FINALLY.
