Abandoned dog in Spokane

Hi - just got a mail about a big fluffy older male (don't know much else) abandoned in a foreclosed house.
Apparently they have cont aced the former "owner" and they won't be back.

He is in a pen, been there several weeks, neighbor feeding and bringing water. Sounds like
they want to take him to a shelter. Big dogs have less of a chance here (as in most places),
even if they are adoptable, so...

If anyone nearby has another alternative, even a foster for awhile, would you please email me
privately and let me know?

They lady that notified me emailed and said a woman showed up and took him.

I hope his future is better...
