Gideon wants a kitty
The house Gideon lived in before I got him had a couple of cats. Recently Gideon's been saying, "Get kitty!" whenever we're out and he sees a cat or a small dog (he calls small dogs "kitty" too).

It's very cute. :D

1. Kitties are good luck!
If ever you're looking for good luck just watch and see if you can rescue a cat. I just rescued this one. He's been living out back of my place for a while and I've been feeding him. He was skinny before but naturally I took care of that.

Last week he just walked inside. That's all she wrote:

Here's Charley:

2. How are Charlie & Pad Thai doing?
Are they playing yet? Snuggling?

3. Thanks for asking
They are playing and greet each other nose to nose in a friendly way. They aren't snuggling yet. Pad Thai still does some things that Charley finds, well out of the ordinary. For instance, he was horrified this morning when Pad Thai jumped from the kitchen floor up to my shoulder. Charley had to take off after that.

4. It sounds like all is well -
When are you going to add Charley to your picture bar at the bottom of your posts?

I have to dig up the constraints again. I may have to resize all the pictures. :)

grey female kitty and a grey and white tabby. The grey kitty isn't trusting enough to let me pick her up yet. The grey and white tabby - male, is.

BTW, As many of you know I got a black cat that showed up a few months ago - he appeared in my apt. I named him blacky.

Well tonight is my third night with my 2nd black cat that just showed up - appeared in my apt and apparently plans on living there. This one is a long haired black kitty.

And there's a third - yep, I thought it was my blacky - short haird black cat, but it has yellow eyes and only wants me to feed it. Turned out my blacky - green eyes- was inside while I was trying to get the third black cat to come in as I mistaked it for mine. It just keeps hanging around the front door and won't come in yet. It may have a home.

I have 7 cats now, and will get evicted if my apt managers find out.

Crybaby- the grey haired tabby is in the most need of a home. He is underweight and scared. My cats won't let him in my place - they attack him. He lives under a bush outside my door. The grey kitty - female - lives across the parkinglot from my door in a trashed shed.

I discovered a very large racoon the night before last, wants to eat on my porch with the rest of the cats (5-6 in the neighborhood - most have homes, crybaby and the grey one don't). I'm afraid about the racoon possibly trying to attack a cat.

------------

Anyway, not to make you feel uncomfortable Aliengirl. I just try to mention these cats that need homes when I see an open.

Spread the word, spread the word...

8. You're good cat people
I can't resist cats who might need a meal either. PetFinders might be a good way to find homes for your fosters.

9. Yes I should try them.
For some reason I've had good luck with DU members though. I'll wait till the right person comes along.

Meanwhile these cats I'm feeding are getting more and more trusting. I have to get the grey momma cat more trusting before I can do anything with her - get her fixed, get her a home etc. I'm making more progress daily. Remember she was wild.

10. Yeah being wild is different
I thought Charley was wild, but he had been neutered and declawed and obviously he was not. He was just shy from lack of trust.
