HELP My computer is infected with WinAntiVirus
This window keeps popping up telling me I am possibly infected with this virus and that I need to download this program. When I go to their site they want me to essentially buy something to remove the program they put on in the firstplace.

THIS IS EXTORTION!!

1. Easiest way to get rid of it if you have XP

is to use Windows Restore. Just go to Programs - Accessories - System Tools and restore your computer to an earlier restore point. It won't erase any files you made with your programs but it will erase any programs you have added to your computer since the restore point.

If you don't want to do that try Spywaredoctor, Spybot or AdAware - all have free versions.
