I removed the battery and unplugged it.

I have it open and on its side drying.

Everything I read says to clean it and dry it. But, I have no idea how to dismantle the keyboard.

Mouse doesn't work and it won't turn on.

Yikes!

1. Here is a site that has some disassemble guides, select your model and be
careful.

Hint, get a box of zip lock bags and felt tip markers. Bag and label each layer you take apart. If you have a camera phone take pictures as you proceed. Near perfect vision or some magnifying tools needed.

Its a very difficult job. Step 1 pull and save the Hard Drive.
