Bavaria Bundt Pan
I recently got a new bundt pan in this "Bavaria" shape. After I got it home, I was timid to try it because I have bad luck with cakes sticking to my old bundt pan that has a less detailed shape. But I sprayed it heavily with the store brand of Baker's Joy product and the cake popped out perfectly. Not a crumb left in the pan! Figured to mention the good luck with it. And I like this shape as it seems so classic.

2. Mine was a boxed chocolate cake
At this altitude, for now I'm sticking with what works. Btw, the picture above is from some site that sells pans. But it does lok elegant. The choco looked nice with powdered sugar dusted on it.

3. I LOVE mine.
I was really afraid the first time I used it, figuring I'd end up having to scrape the cake out but darn, when I turned it over, it practically fell out. What a great cake pan!! I got mine at William-Sonoma.

When I went to get the link for this post, I see they have a loaf pan now and it has fruit embossing. Looks like I need to run up there Monday (hate to go there on weekends!!) and look around.

Mine is the one that looks like a cathedral. I sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar and it looks like a cathedral with snow on the roof. Just beautiful. I also have the pan that does six flowers. That works nice for individual desserts when we have company for dinner. Those I usually do with a glaze. I like to use my Kentucky Butter Cake recipe and the rum glaze.

4. The fruit pan is lovely!

I want one. I think it would so pretty with an apricot glaze over it Or even different colors of icing. I also saw your cathedral cake pan and it was a tough choice. That one is really nice, along with the one that looks like one giant rose.

5. FYI
You didn't say where you got your bundt pan, so I don't know the brand of the store's Bakers' Joy, but the salesman at William-Sonoma told me to use Baker's and it works just fine. I just thought I'd pass that info on, for when you need to buy more, since Bakers' Joy is easy to pick up at any supermarket.

6. My store didn't carry Baker's Joy
It's King Sooper, a major chain. Maybe they didn't have the B/Joy in stock. So I got the store brand that's the same thing - all in one. It worked really well. If I remember right, Baker's Joy went on with a dry appearance. My store brand looked wet even though it has the flour in it. Maybe I should have sprayed earlier so it had time to dry. But it turned out (literally!) fine. :)

8. I misread your post........
I thought you said the store brand of the store where you bought the bundt pan. I was thinking like, in my case if William-Sonoma has a spray. Sooooooo, I was thinking you were using an expensive "vanity brand". If you were using a supermarket's brand, all the better. I've just automatically picked up Bakers Joy, because they were the first to come out with something that saved me from having even more flour flying when I bake.

I'm truly a MESSY person in the kitchen!! LOL, my cake looks great dusted with powdered sugar, but don't even look in my kitchen. It looks like a snowstorm.

9. Welcome to the messy kitchen club!
Or are we the charter members? I really do make a mess when I'm in there. I try to do all sorts of things to keep it easier to clean but to no avail.

And I really do want the Baker's Joy brand. It's just that it goes on looking powder and dry as I recall. The brand I got was mushy wet. If the bundt pan wasn't a non stick to begin with, I wouldn't have so much faith in the spray I bought.

7. Beautiful!
I have always had a hankering for one of those pans. But I don't make cakes all that often, so I haven't been able to justify it.
